Kara and Diana walked into the main hall on campus where there seemed to be to many stalls to count set up, showing off different clubs of all kinds. They walked around, laughing at a few of the names, there was a 'Quidditch team' which Kara was so close to joining until Diana pulled her away quickly. They came across a orienteering stall, that were hosting an event for all freshers, in teams of four.

"Hey Kara, look this could be fun" Diana said dragging Kara over so they could get a better look at the stall, Kara adjusted her glasses so she could have a better look at the rules and regulations.

"You have to be in a team of four" Kara pointed to the sheet of laminated A4 paper, Diane sighed, she loved going out and finding new places as well as people it really seemed to help keep the curious side of her in check which in another situation could get her in an awful lot of trouble.

"thats okay, we organise the teams, just put your names down on the sign up sheet and you will be sorted into a team!" A friendly looking man said from behind the stall, Diana smiled whole heatedly picking up the pen almost immediately and writing down her name on the sign up sheet quickly before handing it to Kara who then did the same. "Thank you, and good luck the event will be tomorrow night, come to the sports field at midnight and bring a flashlight!" The man said waving goodbye to them as both Kara and Diana walked away from the stall. They squeezed out of the main hall, Kara took out her phone to check the time, wondering if Alex and her mum would be home by now, but in the midst of the crowd her phone was knocked out of her hand and landed onto the old tiled ground with a smash, Diana turned round at the sound, looking sympathetically at Kara who was now holding a completely smashed up phone, it wouldn't even turn on.

"What am I going to do" Kara groaned looking at the mess of a phone now falling about her hands, Diana walked over and smiled sadly.

"could you get it repaired?" She asked, not thinking of any other option apart from buying a new one. Kara shook her head fixing her glasses again, knowing that Eliza was going to kill her if she had to pay for another new phone, this was her third this year and it was only September, Kara cursed her own clumsiness.

"How could anyone even try to repair this, I don't even think bob the frickin builder could fix this" Kara said sighing, Diana couldn't help but giggle slightly at the metaphor, suddenly a small, nervous voice came from behind where they were standing.

"I could fix it" The female voice said, barley above a whisper, Kara and Diana whipped round to see a smaller than average brunette standing awkwardly, her hair tied up in a high ponytail and Kara couldn't help but take a double take at the glinting green eyes in the odd sunlight coming through the pains of glass, hitting them just right.

"I don't think anyone could fix this but thank you" Kara said smiling, turning away from the brunette, she was busy figuring out how she was meant to break the news to Eliza.

"Im sorry, but I really think I could" the brunette said again from behind them, stumbling over her words slightly, smiling nervously when Diana's and Kara's attention were firmly back on her.

"You man as well let her try" Diana said crossing her arms, Kara sighed handing the broken pieces of her phone over to the brunette, who thanked her profusely.

"Do you want to follow me to the lab?" The brunette asked as she started to walk away already examining the phone, Diana and Kara hurried behind her following her up about three different flights of stairs until they went through a big white modern door and were inside the lab, the brunette put the broken phone down on a bench and got to work almost immediately, Diana and Kara watching from the sidelines.

"Don't worry if you can't fix it" Kara said shyly, the brunette hummed, Kara couldn't be sure if she was actually listening or not. "Im Kara Danvers by the way and this is Diana Prince" Kara said introducing herself and Diana to the nerdy brunette.

"Lena Luthor" The brunette murmured still fiddling away with the phone. Kara nodded, she couldn't help but think how beautiful a name that was, it just rolled of the tongue. "Yes!" Lena shouted in almost no time at all.

"What, what is it?" Kara asked, not wanting to get to excited just yet.

"Here you are, its fixed" Lena said handing the phone back to Kara, the blonde stared at the phone in awe, it looked like it had never been broken.

"Thank you, thank you so much!" Kara said, putting the phone safely back i her pocket to avoid it coming to any further harm. Lena nodded, like it was no big deal.

"Are you a fresher to?" Diana asked, Lena nodded.

"Yeah i arrived a couple of weeks ago though so i had time to install all of my lab equipment" Lena explained, Kara nodded taking everything in, she was still in shock that someone was able to actually fix something that broken.

"You should come to the big freshers party tonight, first round of drinks on us as a thank you" Diana said shoving Lena playfully who only shook her head, smiling sadly.

"I would love to but parties aren't really my thing" The brunette said, Diana nodded not quite understanding how anybody could not like a good party.

"See you around then Lena" Diana said, walking out of the lab, Kara followed her figure out of the lab, looking back one more time at Lena before she left, she made direct eye contact with those bright emerald eyes and she could swear that her heart just skipped a beat.
