Sexual Tension

Lena approached the blonde, measuring tape firmly clasped in her hands, she circled around her slowly getting her bearings on ever inch of Kara's body, not like she hadn't done it before, she cleared her throat loudly knowing that what she was about to say would probably cause Kara to break off in one of her awkward rants and Lena wasn't sure if she was mentally prepared to deal with that. Trying to be annoyed at possibly the happiest person on this planet and the next was really hard, especially when you add Kara's undeniable cuteness into the mix. 

"Kara I need you to take all of your clothes off so  can get accurate measurements" Lena said as simply as she could muster and just as predicted Kara's face reddened to a new extreme as she started mumbling about something or other. The blonde undid the buttons keeping her already tight shirt in place, before placing the discarded garment on a nearby bench, Lena couldn't do anything but stare now. Those abs, even despite Kara's quite obvious super human powers she did not expect to see an effect physically. Unknown to Lena, Kara had spotted her staring at her exposed body, as she slid out of her jeans, this time casually dropping them onto the floor beside her, so all she wearing was her bra and panties. And with Lena taking her sweet time to observe the situation, Kara had grown more confident within herself with how the brunette might feel about her. 

Lena walked closer to the blonde, she stood behind her slowly wrapping the measuring tape around Kara's waist, who shivered at the sudden touch on her warm body of the rather cold tape. Lena moved around to the front of her subject now, gently tracing her finger over Kara's abs absentmindedly as she did so. Kara giggled, there was absolutely no doubt in her mind now that Lena was attracted to her in one way or another. Lena breathed deeply trying to contain every single one of her emotions, a she measured the width of Kara's shoulders, not making eye contact, not even for a second, the blonde pouted all she wanted to do in that moment was look into those green smouldering eyes, that made her feel so much. Enough was enough, Kara lifted Lena's concentrating head with her finger so they were forced to make eye contact. 

Both Lena and Kara's mouths were dry, their eyes wired with desire, pupils firmly dilated at what they were both witnessing and feeling. Lena leaned towards Kara, their lips merely millimetres apart and just as Kara's heart was beginning to flutter, Diana busted through the door, which she immediately regretted doing for more than one reason, as she covered her eyes with her hands as soon as she saw a almost naked Kara. Lena broke away quickly, mentally shaking herself, but it didn't help she still felt as though she was in some kind of trance. 

"You can go now Kara, I have everything I need" Lena said sharply as she scuttled away to another part of her lab, she had never experienced anything more embarrassing in her whole life.  Kara sighed, so close yet so far, honestly Kara had no idea what was going on with her around this woman, she had never in her whole life felt more strongly about a person than what she felt about Lena in that moment, and in every moment before that. Kara picked up her shirt and jeans, shoving them on as quickly as she could as Diana stood outside the lab waiting for Kara to emerge, as she heard everything that was going on behind the door. 

Kara huffed as she walked out of the lab, slapping Diana gently on the shoulder in annoyance at the thought of what could have happened if she hadn't come bursting through the door at that exact point. 

"This better be important" Kara growled rather aggressively, which took Diana by surprise she didn't think that Kara even had an aggressive side. Diana led Kara back to their dorm room where the other two counterparts of their super hero, super fighting team were waiting for them. 

Lena was sat back at her work bench in the lab, glasses on and her hair up in a messier than usual bun, she had always been told 'never mix work with pleasure' and before Kara that had never been anything of an issue but now she could barley do her quantum equations without being distracted by the thought of Kara. Lena didn't know how long she had been sitting their thinking about the blonde, but it must have been a while, because as if by magic Kara walked through the lab door, looking a lot more nervous than usual as she approached where Lena was sitting. 

"I don't know what it is about you Lena but I just can't get you out of my head and I have to just try something otherwise I'm never going to be able to get anything done ever again, so please just bare with me-" Kara ranted, and Lena being the intelligent woman that she undoubtedly was knew where the sentence was headed as soon as Kara had started speaking, she couldn't believe the person who she was obsessed with felt the exact same way about her, it was straight out of a fairy tale. 

Lena stood up smiling bashfully as Kara was now talking so fast, fuelled by all of her nervous energy that Lena couldn't understand a word she was saying. Lena curled her hands around Kara's blonde head pulling her in for a long, passionate kiss, knowing that was the only way to shut her up at the rate she was going. After what felt like an eternity Lena pulled back for air, smiling at how bashful Kara had become after the sweet kiss. 

"I'll have the super suits ready by tomorrow morning if you want to tell the rest of the girls, you can all come and try them on then." Lena said sitting back down at her bench as if nothing had happened.
