I open the door, as it creaks, and I peak inside. I see a boy, with dark curls, and freckles spread across his nose and cheeks. "Wait um officer..?", I say giving him a confused look. "Oh yea, one thing I forgot to mention. Cell buddies here are boy/girl. It is just the way it works. But, there are bathrooms in these cells, for privacy. But keep in mind, just because your buddy is a boy, doesn't mean you will be all lovey dovey, so calm down kid. Plus, I guard this whole hallway, and I can hear anything through these doors.", he says as I already feel a wave of anxiety and panic wash over me.
A boy? Why? I hate boys.

"Fine", is all I say, before walking into the room, and getting the chills. Officer Hopper closes the door, as I hear him walk off, his footsteps slowly echoing away, signaling he was probably going to his own little office or whatever. I slowly and quietly took my shoes off, trying my best not to wake the boy up. I quickly walk to my white mattress, touching the cold concrete trying to do so. I cover myself with the sheets, and turn away from the boy, just to try to get some sleep. I slowly drift off to sleep, shutting my eyes.

I flutter my eyes open, as I hear a strange ruffling sound. I rub my eyelids, and force myself to turn around, remembering I had a new cell buddy. As I turn around, I see the boy, organizing some things, and making his bed. I just stare, admiring his features, like his messy hair. He quickly turns around, catching me stare, as I quickly look away embarrassed. "Uh hello", he says as I sit up in the bed, shaking my messy hair. I stick my hand out for him to shake. "Hey, I'm Millie!", I try to say confidently, trying not to sound nervous. "Uh hey Millie, i'm Finn", he replies, shaking my hand.
Wow, his hand is sweaty.
I awkwardly get up, and make my bed. I step into the bathroom, and brush my teeth, comb my hair, and use the bathroom. That was my usual routine, except I felt less violated. I mean, yes, there was privacy in the bathroom, but still, it felt very awkward.
I hate this already.

I step out if the bathroom, as Finn's eyes shoot right through me like a dagger. "What are you looking at?", I say with sass in my voice, as I roll my eyes. God, guys can be so damn annoying. "Wow, there is no need to be a bitch", he says right back, as he turns around. "Well I don't need you to like me, so that's okay", I say, obvious annoyance in my voice. I sit down on my bed, and give him a fake smile, as he gives one back. Well, we already hate each other, and that's okay with me.

Like I said, I don't care for people anymore. There is no point to making friends nor talking to anyone. I hate everyone, and everything. And if people call me a bitch, well so be it.

I continued on with my day, as I sat up against my pillow, reading a book. I tried to concentrate, but Finn kept making annoying sounds doing who knows what. It was really starting to piss me off. "Finn, can you please shut the fuck up", I say looking at him dead in the eye. "Can you shut your mouth and stop being a bitch?", he says, shocking me that he would actually talk back to me. "Well I said please, so do it", I say rolling my eyes. "Why do you act like that", he asks, suddenly changing the tone in his voice from angry, to calm. "Act like what?", I say, playing the innocent card. "Act like a bitch just so you can get your way. Because that sure as hell isn't going to work with me." I scoff, actually shocked that this boy was trying to test me, Millie Bobby Brown, the biggest bitch with the biggest attitude, right now. "Can you just stop that, please.", I say, a little nicer, but still having annoyance in my voice. "Fine", is all he says before he stops, and just lays down in his bed, looking at the ceiling.

My reading is interrupted, as I hear a banging on the door. "Let's go kids, it's dinner time", I hear Officer Hopper say. I get up off my bed and head towards the door, Finn following right behind me. We walk out into the hallway, that same breeze as before hitting my face. Finn and I follow Officer Hopper to the cafeteria, without saying a word. We finally arrive, and as soon as I see him, I roll my eyes.
I hate him. I despise him.
