Unremarkably Dismissive

So let's start this story of how Verre was created with the dawn. Lila and I woke up to go make a leisurely breakfast. Well let's be honest Lila made breakfast and I watched from the sidelines because I swear as soon as I touch a pot or pan the whole kitchen is on fire. Lila is much better at cooking then I will ever be so I was quite excited to taste the pancakes. But not quite following the recipe Lila put too many chocolate chips in and the pancakes ended up being either full of chocolate chips to the point of explosion or be only batter.

After we finished cleaning up the messy chocolate pancakes we got back to what we were really good at, drawing. Kagami sat on the couch and watched as we painted. I watched my hand swish across the paper as the blue jay I was creating came to life with the final stroke of my brush. It flew gracefully across the paper and landed in one of the branches in the far left corner of the canvas. Lila was always drawing dragons with gigantic horns and majestic flowing wings. In this particular work I saw the brilliantly coloured beast standing tall and regal slightly lowering its head as if to say, "Good day". I haven't yet figured out why, but that day I had the surprising urge to draw a human. For the moment I was so lost in thought and inspiration that by the time I noticed what I was doing, the little silver haired girl was depicted delicately on the page, except for the fact that she had a stubborn and almost disgusted look plastered on her face, and as many time as I redrew it she still looked unremarkably dismissive.

"Will you stop erasing my face!" the girl on paper screeched. "It's unbelievably rude for you to do so, who do you think you are anyway?" I stared down at my paper in amazement and fear. My paper just talked back to me.. well that's a first.

Before I knew it Kagami was looming above me staring down on the angry girl. "Well I never thought I'd see this." Kagami smirked.

"Did you just call me a "this" grandma." The girl sneered back.

"We don't mean any harm, what's your name?" Glass Girl said approaching her cautiously.

"The name's Verre, or My Queen, if you prefer."

Verre scanned the room distastefully. "So, who's strawberry shortcake."

"Says Ms.Flat Stanley junior, oh and by the way, her names Piengi." Lila giggled with a smirk on her face.

"Ouch, I can feel the burn from here," Kagami gave Lila a high five then sauntered off.
Lila and I looked at each other as if to say, "What the hell do we do now?" but by the time we had turned to look at the canvas Verre was long gone. We both began to search the room in panic. She could be anywhere but just as we started searching the other rooms, I heard a little "Hello," in my ear. When I turned around to answer I found Verre munching sloppily on an apple I had drawn a couple of weeks ago.

    "Hey don't eat my art!"

"Relax, it'll go back to normal in the morning, so chill," she said lazily.

"We should just leave her alone ok Piengi," Lila said from behind me.

With that Lila and I went to play Mario Kart. (and I won by a land slide by the way)
Actually Piengi's terrible at Mario Kart.

"On the other hand I'm fabulous at virtual golf, what do you say we play a round," Piengi chuckled mischievously.

"No, anything but virtual golf!" Lila shrieked in a sarcastic terror.
