Chapter 8: Secret

Marco's POV

As soon as I got pretty far from Star and Janna, I quickly took a break from running and proceeded to go to my next class as soon as the bell rang.
Then suddenly Mrs. Skullnick approached me.

"Mr. Diaz you're early and also quite nervous, is it a girl?"

Ms. Skullnick asked. Wait is it that obvious.

"Wait what!? Uhhhhh no, no girl."

"Did you ran here?"

"Yes, I did. know I'm early but...can I please talk to you about something?"

"What about?"

Ms. Skullnick asks.

"If you know something BIG like a secret about someone that no one else should know but you find out on your own. Should you tell that person that you know his/her's secret?"

"Well if that 'secret' is as important as you say it is then if you tell him/her, then there will be a chance that person will either trust you or hate you."

"Well she already hates me."

"I knew it was a girl! So do you like her?"

I slightly blushed.

"I uhh what uhh I....yes I mean no, I mean maybe uhh...I don't know?"

Uhh why am I stammering?

Star's POV

WHAT!?! OMG OMG. Does he know anything?

"Wow Star you're rich?"

Janna read from Marco's phone.

"Uhh what uhh no I mean I don't know what your talking about"

"It says here you're a daughter of a billionaire who owns WAND"

"Uhhh maybe it's a different Star Butterfly."

"Uhh no it has your family picture."

She showed me.

"Fine you caught me, but don't tell anyone please my mom would kill me."

"Yeah sure no problem, let's just hope Marco keeps quiet."

"Oh no Marco! What if he say something or worst get hurt."

"Wait, what do you mean get hurt? Is someone after you."

"Yes, his name is Toffee, he's after me and my family. He wants the company and our money, and he will do anything to get it."

"Why can't you just hire people to get him."

"We did but they turned against us."

"What about the company?"

"The High Commission took care of our company, while we hide from Toffee."

"So you moved here to hide? Am I right?"

"Well yeah to keep me safe. Janna please don't tell anyone about this."

"You have my word Star. So are you going to talk to Marco about yah know."

"Oh yeah"

Then all of a sudden the bell rang.

"Well that's the bell see yah at lunch"

"Bye"

I really need to talk to Marco.

Marco's POV

I should probably go talk to Star.
