Chapter 13: Date?

Marco's POV

After dinner, the Butterfly's and my parents went to the living room while I, as always will do the dishes. They were laughing and telling stories to each other.

Star's POV

After dinner, my family and the Diaz's went to their living room. Marco didn't follow. Our parents laughed and tell stories while I remain quiet. As I observe more of their home I saw a pictures of the Diaz's mounted on the wall. There were a lot of pictures from Mr. And Mrs. Diaz until they had Marco. He was a pretty cute child...wait what? I said child..alright...nothing else.

"Right Star?"

That was the only thing I heard from mom, as usual, I was'nt listening.

"I'm sorry, what?"

"We were talking about you and Marco spending time tomorrow afternoon. You would like that, would you?"

"Uhh what?"

"Since were new here and Marco's your new bodygaurd, Mr and Mrs. Diaz would like to schedule aaaa- what do the teens say it these days-oh a date!"

"Not exactly, but maybe he could show you around town if you'd like."

Mrs. Diaz said. Say what!? This is not happening. I mean sure I want to get to know the guy, but it's kinda... awkward.

Marco's POV

As I was finish washing the dishes and about to enter the living room I hear this:

"We were talking about you and Marco spending time tomorrow afternoon. You would like that would you?"

Mrs. Butterfly said. So I curiously eavesdrop.

"I'm sorry, what?"

Star said.

"We were talking about you and Marco spending time tomorrow afternoon. You would like that, would you?"

Wait what? I didn't agree to this. Where am I gonna to take her?

"Uhh what?"

Star said confused like me.

"Since were new here and Marco's your new bodygaurd, Mr and Mrs. Diaz would like to schedule aaaa- what do the teens say it these days-oh a date!"

I froze. DATE!?! WHAT DATE AND WHY A DATE?

"Not exactly, but maybe he could show you around town if you'd like."

Mom said. Why am I taking her around town? Why me?

"Well we better get going, it's getting late."

Star's father said as he was about to stand up.

"Oh yes ofcourse. Marco! Sweety, the Butterfly's are leaving!"

Mom said. Ok Diaz, act cool pretend that you didn't hear their conversation. I walk towards them acting...cool..I  think. My parents opened the door.

"Farewell."

Star's parents said in sync.

"It was an honor meeting you Mr. And Mrs. Diaz."

Star said to my parents. Then she looked at me and my heart beat went as fast as seeing Ferguson eat.

"Pick me around 4 o'clock tomorrow."

Then with that they left.
