Marco's POV

Star was quiet. After saying I don't trust her yet, since we just getting to know each other. Why do I feel so guilty? Uhh now I feel anxious.

"Hey are you okay? You've been quiet."

I asked nervously.

"Uhh yeah sorry 'bout that. Sooo where are we off to next?"

She said starting to get up from the bench. I could tell her trying to brush off the awkwardness.

"Okay."

Next, I'm planning to take her downtown show the some shops and my dojo.

"Wanna go downtown?"

"Uh sure"

She said not really looking like she's so sure.

"Why what's wrong?"

I asked.

"I haven't really went to a "downtown" before but I've heard many people like going their so much. What really it it?

"It's a place where people shop, you could see a lot of shops there like a mall but outside. Does girls like you love shopping?"

"Most girls are but I really don't care to what I wear. Every time I wear something totally me my mom will just force me to change."

"Oh that's awful. Come on let's go."

I said excitedly grabbing her arm heading downtown.

Star's POV

Marco grabbed my arm and head off. For some reason I always feel safe around him, I guess that's why Janna always call him "The safe kid", but even though, I want to be his friend.
As we head downtown, I saw Oscar with...Jackie walking together. They're dating!? I can't believe it, of course I mean who doesn't want to be with Oscar but... JACKIE? Marco's crush? I can't let Marco see this it will break his heart like it just did with mine. I quickly pulled out my arm around his hand and took his hand and head off another direction.

"Star!? Where are you going?"

"Uh I just saw something over there. It look pretty interesting."

I saw pointing at a different direction.

"Come one let's go!"

I yelled

Marco's POV

Where is she going? This wasn't even part of my plan it's almost 6 o'clock, shell be going home soon.

"Star where are you going?"

I ask.

"Uhh over here. Tadaa!"

She said as she push me inside an antique shop.

"I didn't know you like antiques?"

I said curiously

"Uhhhh yeah I like vintage stuff it's unique."

"Yeah kinda like you."

We both froze. Dammit! Why did I say that. Uhh you were suppose to play it cool Diaz.

"Uh I mean you're different not like any girl."

I said trying to stop the awkwardness.
