Chapter 29

Almost to 30 chapters!

Tris POV

I wake to a frantic Tobias.

"Tris I thought you were never going to wake up! We gotta go!" He points to the train door and I see we are approaching Dauntless. I still struggle to get up so he picks me up and jumps off landing on his feet with a thud. We walk back to Uriah's in a comfortable silence. I press my head to his chest and listen to his steady heartbeat, he's still carrying me. I'm surprised he isn't tired and I almost feel bad that he's carrying me. But I decide to shrug it off and burry my face into his shirt. As we are about to enter Uriah's apartment, the door swings open before Tobias can open it. I see our friends sitting in a circle.

"ITS ABOUT TIME PANSYCAKES!" Uriah says throwing his hands in the air. I open my eyes and glare at Uriah.

"Oh well excuuuuuse me, but I've been asleep for the past week an a half and I just forgot how to oh i don't know... WALK!" I say as Tobias gently places me down.

"You are excused." Uriah says in his erudite impression. I just glare at him.

"Ok people lets start." Zeke says.

"ME FIRST!" Christina says. Uh oh.

"Ok ok ok Tris truth or dare."

I start to get nervous because I feel that same drop in my stomach I did when I went through my fear landscape.

"Um... Truth?" I ask nervously.

"PANS-" Uriah gets cut off when Marlene elbows him in the ribs.

"What do you dislike most about Four?" Christina asks. My heart rate picks up. I will get you Christina.

"Um...." I stutter.
Tobias then turns and looks at me with an eyebrow raised. I giggle a bit and then I think of something.

"He um... Well he sings in his sleep." I start to giggle a lot and Four looks shocked.

"What! No I don't!"

"Honey.... You do." I say smiling.

He crosses his arms and pouts like a child. I smile and rest my head on his shoulder.

"Shaunna truth or dare?" I say

"Dare" she says grinning.

"I dare you to call a random person and ask them, when a cow laughs, does milk come out of its nose?" She giggles and smiles evilly. Then all of a sudden, she reaches into Zeke's pocket and takes his phone.

"HEY!!! Give it bac-" Shaunna runs into the bathroom and locks the door slamming it right in his face.

"Ok," she says through the door laughing, "lemme see who I could call."
Zeke pushes through all of us and bangs on the bathroom door.

"SHAUNNA I DEMAND Y-" Zeke gets cut off once again.

"OOOH I GOT IT! LETS CALL HIS MOM!" She shouts from inside. Then his widen and he pounds on the door even more. Zeke and Four pull him away laughing uncontrollably.

"Relax brotha, i wanna hear this!" Uriah says laughing.

We all stand silent and listen as Shaunna puts the phone on speaker.

"Hi Hanna, it's Shaunna."

"Oh hello dear, how can I help you?" She asks in a sweet voice. Ever since Zeke and Shaunna started dating, Zeke's mom has loved Shaunna like a daughter. But for some reason, lately Shaunna and Zeke haven't been... I don't know.... They just haven't been as close as they used to be.

"Oh Zeke just wanted me to ask you how the worlds best grandmother was doing today?" Shaunna says in a soothing voice, but I can also tell she's about to burst into laughter by the way she slightly stutters.

"Oh well I'm doing f- WAIT WHAT?!" She says sounding shocked. Zeke's eyes widen and then he loses it. He runs to the door and slams right into it. Then Shaunna walks out and throws his phone at his face.

"That's what you get for being a coward." She says, I see tears form in her eyes and she runs away. Zeke tris to chase after her but everyone holds him back as Mar, Chrissy and I run after Shaunna.
