Chapter 50

*a few months later*

Tris POV

Life has been pretty good to me these past few months. Tobias and I could never be happier. I plan to move into his apartment with him soon. Maybe once I get school done and over with and I have my job picked. Christina is going to move in with Will the about the same time I move. Uriah and Marlene seem pretty happy. They live together now and occasionally throw parties.

That leaves Zeke and Shaunna. They however, don't have everything sorted out. Zeke has tried so many different things to get Shaunna back. But she's still very confused and hurt. Today Zeke has something planned that is absolutely brilliant! This better work because Zeke doesn't know what else to do after this.

At free period the whole gang besides Zeke and Shaunna-obviously-meet outside of Shaunna's history class. Zeke is getting ready for his big plan and Shaunna is in class. The teacher is fully aware of what we're about to do.

"Ready girls?" Christina asks Marlene and I smirking. Tobias raises an eyebrow.

"What are you guys doing exactly?" Tobias asks. Uriah puts his finger to Tobias's mouth.

"Hush child." Uriah coo's. Tobias slaps Uriah's hand and Uriah points his finger at Tobias.

"Bad Four! Bad!" Tobias rolls his eyes and I giggle.

3......2......1....Suddenly Marlene, Christina and I burst through the history room door.

"SHAUNNA! WE HAVE AN EMERGENCY!" Christina screams. Everyone in the class turns to look at Shaunna and her cheeks turn bright pink. Everyone else happens to know about this aswell, they just wanna see her turn bright pink. Zeke made this a very public thing, he wants all the attention he can get for Shaunna.

"Um can't it wait I'm kinda in the middle of c-"

"NO TIME FOR CLASS, LETS GET MOVING WOMAN!" Christina yells. That's our cue. Marlene and I grab Shaunna's arms and pull her out of the room. Once we drag her out into the hall, she starts yelling at us.

"WHY DID YOU DO THAT? I WAS KIND OF B-" Marlene cuts Shaunna off.

"Girl calm down. Jeez!" Marlene says.

"Yeah, take a chill pill." I say.

"Well?! What are we doing out here." Shaunna says crossing her arms and tapping her foot against the ground.

"Oh you'll see." I say wiggling my eyebrows.

"Wh-" suddenly Shaunna is cut off yet once again, when the intercom comes on in the school and "It Girl" by Jason Derulo starts playing. Dauntless come bursting out the classroom doors, dancing all the moves we rehearsed. Shaunna's eyes go wide. Then a big parade float makes its way down the hall, it's in the shape of a peice of dauntless cake. Zeke stands on top of it holding a bouquet of roses. He jumps down and starts doing all these flips and stunts that took hours of practice considering what a terrible gymnast Zeke is. He grabs Shaunna's hand and starts to dance to the song with her. Everyone forms a big circle and watches them. When the songs over, Zeke goes down on his knees and says,

"Shaunna, when I first saw you, I knew I liked you. But that small little crush soon became a feeling of love that took over my entire soul. It effected my whole life. I've never felt the same about anyone else but you. I haven't been able to keep you off my mind and I need you back. So please, take me back?" He says holding her hands in his. She looks down at him, shocked and crazy confused. She is on the verge of tears and says,

"Yes, of course. As long as you promise me one thing."

"Anything." Zeke says.

"Stay with me. Forever."

"Of course." He says. He stands up and lifts her up to kiss her. At this point everyone's clapping. I smile and turn to Marlene and Uriah. I'm about to say something to Marlene when I see the look on Uriah's face. He looks jelous of all the attention Zeke is getting right now. His eyes widen signaling he has an idea. Uh oh. He runs into the middle of the circle and screams,

"HEY PANSYCAKES! LOOK WHAT I CAN DO!" Tobias's eyes widen as if he knows what's gonna happen next.

"No Uriah don-" Tobias gets cut off. Then suddenly, Uriah does a split!!! But he fails terribly and screams in pain. Marlene's eyes go wide and she runs to him and helps him up. He has to lean on her because he can't even stand up. I look away and laugh really hard. Marlene brings Uriah to the nurse and everyone slowly goes back to class. I head to my locker, and a note falls when I open it. It has a rose attached to it.

Dear Tris,

Please give me a chance, I will love you forever and never let you down. I've always loved you.

Suddenly I feel a pair of muscular arms wrap around my waist. I then and see Tobias. He smiles, until he sees the note.

"What's that?" He asks.

"A note from Al. Again." I say rolling my eyes.

"Let me see." He says in a stern voice.

"I'm just going to throw it o-" he cuts me off.

"No! Let me see it." He says. I start to get a little scared. I hand him the note and he looks at it. Anger rushes through his vans.

"How long have you had this?!" He says not looking up.

"Well I j-" he cuts me off again.

"ARE YOU CHEATING ON ME?!" He says yelling now.

"What!! No!!! W-"

"TRIS! WHY WOULD YOU KEEP THIS FROM ME! THATS IT! WERE DONE!" He screams and storms off. He didn't even let me talk. He doesn't know that I just found that stupid note today. He probably wouldn't care though. I feel his words stab me in the stomach and I run out of school as fast as I can sobbing. The train comes in my direction and I jump on. I cry for about 5 minutes straight, what do I do now? I've lost Tobias, my Tobias. Tears run down my face and I let them. I let the sound of the wind eventually drift me away. To a calmer world. I close my eyes and don't look back.

Ok I feel like this chapter was way too long and way too cheesy... UGH whateves
