Tobias POV
I told her. I told her I missed her. She might think of me as weak now. But honestly I'm not. I just have some weak spots here and there. I expect her to look at me like a kicked puppy, but she doesn't. She's speechless. I remove my head from my hands and clear my throat.
"Tris, please take me back. Please,
I didn't mean anything I said." I say, she looks away and stares at the floor.
"Then why did you say it." She says plainly, avoiding eye contact with me.
"Because I wasn't thinking about how much of an idiot I was being. I didn't realize what I had until I lost it." I say searching for her eyes.
"Please Tris, please take me back. I'm sorry about the whole thing with Al. I was just.... Just... Jelous." I say.. Whoa... Did I just say I was jelous?! No no no! I am Four! LEGENDARY FOUR! I DO NOT GET JELOUS! Tris raises an eyebrow. I must be making a weird looking face because I've been so deep in thought.
"The point is, I will never, ever, EVER let you down again." I say. She continues to look away. I take her face into my hands turn her face to look at me. Her eyes are glassy, still beautiful though.
"Please?" I say. She looks me right in the eyes. Silent for a second. This scares me, considering not much scares me. But losing the love of my life? Hell yeah I'm gonna be scared! Suddenly she kisses me. I'm shocked at first, but I kiss back. How could I be so stupid to let her go? I took out all my anger on her. Does this make me like Marcus? NO! I can't be like Marcus. I won't be like Marcus!
She pulls away and says,
"Does that answer your question?" I smile a bit and she hugs me. I hide my face into her hair and breathe out.
"I thought I lost you." I whisper only for her to hear even though we're the only ones in the room at this point.
"I couldn't let you go Tobias, you're my everything." She says.
"You're my everything too," I say. "I had sleepless night for everyday I had to spend without you. And let me tell you what, it. Was. Awful." I say. She giggles and I hug her tighter, never wanting to let her go again.
