Lilly Amber ran to kick the soccer ball to the goal. And when she did, her and her team broke out into cheers. They had won the game.

"Yay!" Lilly jumped up and down.

"Oh my gosh."

"Yes!"

"We did it!"

Then they heard the crowd scream and yell and cheer.

Laura Amber stood up on the top of the pyramid and the crowd cheered when the music finally stopped. Laura smiled as she jumped down and her two male teammates caught her.

Her and her team cheered and smiled at the crowd. Laura caught her parents in the crowd and smiled.

"Hi" her mother waved.

She waved and smiled back as the team ran back into the locker room.

"She was great" her mom smiled at her husband.

"Yeah, she really was." he agreed.

The crowd kept on cheering.

Lilly started walking off of the field after she got her water bottle and bag.

"Hey Lilly, Lilly, Lilly" her friend, Sharron, called after her.

Lilly looked behind her and saw Sharron "oh hey, Sharron."

"You're walking home?"

"Yeah."

"Well, do you need a ride?"

"No" Lilly shook her head. "No thanks."

"Are you sure? My parents are driving, and I figured since you lived two blocks away from us, we could drive you."

"N-no thanks" Lilly was saddened.

"Well okay" Sharron started taking two steps backwards. "Hope you get home safe."

"You too" Lilly smiled at her friend.

"Well bye" Sharron ran down the block.

Lilly frowned and continued to walk. Her parents hadn't been at her game, but Sharron's parents had. She was sad, her parents barely paid attention to her, they always paid attention to her older sister Laura. They never attended to even think about what Lilly might want. They just wanted to make sure that their cheerleader daughter was perfect and well cared for.

Ever since Lilly was born, it was like she was a big disappointment. Just because she had brown hair it didn't mean anything. She was still a part of the Amber family. And when she continued to grow, that was a bigger disappointment. She was a tom boy, into soccer and baseball and she didn't really like make up a lot, but Laura did. Laura was a perfect picture in their mind. Blonde, blue-eyed, fit and very beautiful. But Lilly was beautiful too. Right?
