Chapter Thirteen

Laura blinked at the test in surprise as she helped herself up.

"This can't be happening" she was in shock. "No this can't be true!"

Tears started rolling down her cheeks.

"Omigod!"

Just then she heard a knock come from her bathroom door "Laura boo, can I come in?"

She recognized her mother's voice and quickly stuffed the test into the pharmacy bag and tried her best to sound reasonable "yeah mom, you can, come in."

Lacey walked in and looked around the bathroom "come on, were leaving this place."

"Were going home?" Laura asked.

"Yeah" Lacey nodded and passed a strap of her hair behind her ear "you ready?"

"Uh, yeah" Laura said.

"Okay come on" Lacey said.

Lilly was on the block of her house when she saw Liam sitting on his porch reading her family owned magazine.

"Hey" Liam looked up from the magazine and smiled at Lilly.

"Hi" Lilly rolled her eyes.

"Look" Liam showed Lilly the cover of the magazine. Which was a hotel that her parents had spent the night in a few nights.

"At what" Lilly started putting her key in her front door.

"This hotel is very popular and they found a few condoms in it after your parents spent the night almost a month ago."

"Cool" Lilly signaled a thumbs-up with a fake smile.

Liam shook his head, knowing that Lilly wouldn't get it so he gave her the magazine instead.

Lilly took it "what for?"

"Read pages two and three, maybe you'll understand when you read it."

"Whatever" Lilly walked into her house and threw the magazine in the trash bin.

Then she walked up to her room and sat there and stared at her reflection.

When Lucas, Lacey, Laura and Baby Luke got home they sat in the living room and watched a movie on Lifetime.

Laura was so uncomfortable, she had to come out and tell her parents before it was too late to do something and the whole world would know that the Amber's would be expecting another child and it wouldn't be Lacey and Lucas's it would be Laura's. So Laura did what a smart child would do, she came out and told her parents.

"Mom" she looked at Lacey "dad" she looked at Lucas. "I have to tell you guys something."

"What" Lucas asked as he continued to look at the interesting movie.

"It's important" she took one of each of her parents hands.

Lucas paused the movie and him and Lacey looked at Laura.

"Well what is it?" Lucas asked.

Laura took a deep breath "I don't want you guys to hate me or dislike me because this was all a mistake."

"What? You're going to dye your hair brown" Lacey asked.

"No" tears started to form from Laura's eyes. "It's a little bit better."
