The week went by fast and it was finally Tuesday and everyone, surprisingly was in the living room.
Lilly walked in.
"Mom, I have a soccer game on Thursday" Lilly said not that anyone would care.
Lacey continued looking through a magazine.
"Mommmmm" Lilly repeated. "Helllloooooooooooo!"
Lucas looked through another magazine, not paying attention.
"Anybody listening" Lilly asked.
"Nope" Laura looked at her nails.
"Nobody asked you."
"I know." Laura blew on her nails.
"Just shut up: Lilly walked up to her room and called Kelsey on the phone.
"Hello" Kelsey asked.
"Kelsey" Lilly snapped "nobody's listening to me."
"Are you serious?"
"I'm trying to tell them about my big soccer game but they won't listen!"
"Punch 'em!"
"I can't."
"Omigoodness! Do you want me to show you how?!"
"No" Lilly sighed.
"Urgh! Then I don't know what to tell you Lilly."
"Does anybody?"

The next morning in school Laura was talking to Krissy and Jordan.
"Hey" Laura smiled as she took a picture of all three of them on her cool phone.
Krissy and Jordan made smooching faces while Laura just smiled.
"You seem in a good mood" Jordan commented.
"Thank you" Laura opened her locker.
Krissy and Jordan shared a look.
"What?" Laura caught the awkardness.
"Have you caught your period this month" Jordan asked.
Krissy hit her elbow "just say PMS."
"Yeah that" Jordan looked at Laura.
Laura looked at them sneakily "no."
"Omigosh!" Jordan gasped.
"I thought you got it every 24th" Krissy asked.
"Yeah..." Laura said with an andddd expression.
"Uh oh" Krissy said.
"You're late" Jordan chimed in.
"Oh my gosh" Laura walked passed them and finally realized that it was the 30th. And all day she had been whispering two words to herself "don't be."

"KILL!" Coach yelled as Lilly and her teammates played the game of soccer.
"Lilly, Lilly, Lilly" Sharron echoed as she ran next to Lilly "pass it."
Lilly kicked the ball to Sharron, already knowing what she had wanted.
"Thanks" Sharron kicked the ball all the way to the net.
Lilly watched as Sharron kicked the ball and Ryan couldn't block it.
The orange team cheered at the practice game.

At night, after a long day for Laura, she grabbed the black bag and pulled out the Pharmacy item that had been awaiting her. She opened the test and pulled out a tube looking thing.
She sighed "guess I'll be peeing on you."
After five minutes she sat down on her bathroom floor and looked down at the item "make me happy."

Lilly was walking home until she passed Mary's house.
"Hey Lilly" Mary stood up.
"Hi Mary" Lilly smiled.
"How are you?"
"Same as usual, what about you?"
"Stunning" Mary's eyebrows shot up then she smiled at her friend. "I hear you have a game tomorrow."
"Yeah" Lilly smiled.
"Are you ready for it?"
"Of course I am."
"Well I wanted to wish you good luck and" she reached into her pockets and pulled out a twenty-dollar bill "I know you're going to win so here."
"Thanks Mary but" Lilly shook her head "no thanks."
"Come on, here" Mary offered it to her.
"I shouldn't" Lilly pulled a strap of hair behind her ear.
"Please" Mary held it out. "You can buy a Hollister outfit."
Lilly smiled up at her friend and took the money "thanks Mary."
Mary smiled "enjoy the rest of your day."
"You too" Lilly started on her route back home.

"Don't be, don't be, don't be" Laura whispered to herself.
"Beep, beep, beep" the test said.
Laura stared at it and up came a positive sign.
Sh leaned her head back "thank God!"
She looked at the box the test came out from and she soon realized her mistake.
"Positive means yes." She shook her head "omigod, I'm- I'm." She covered her mouth in horror "I'm pregnant!"
