"i-i like you," yoongi said in a small whisper. he looked up at the brunette standing before him, hopeful of the answer to come. "i'm sorry," hoseok replied with a sigh, refusing to look at the broken boy that was now releasing small sniffles. "i-is it because taehyung b-broke up with you? if so, i can be better for you, i could fill in the empty space in your heart. just give me a ch-chance, please," yoongi choked out, tears beginning to rushing down his pale face.

hoseok couldn't deny yoongi's words, he was still very much in love with taehyung, but it was already too late for them. he knew that taehyung was happier with jungkook, he knew this, and yet his feelings still remained unmoving. he looked yoongi, he seemed pathetic from how desperate he was. he sighed. "fine, i will date you but remember, you're just a rebound. don't get too attached," hoseok said, finally looking straight at the teary eyed boy in front of him. " i-i promise," yoongi said, smiling a bitter smile as more tears fell from his face.
