Chapter 13~ Just us

OMG guys I can't believe I actually found a few zombie pictures of fairytail. Only about two tho. I just burst out laughing because I never knew there was any
Anyway, on with the story

Grays pov
I wake up with the most deadliest headache ever. Why am I on the large circled crafting table? Everything is all fuzzy. I get up and instantly I trip falling flat on my face. I pick up the thing I fell over and realised it's the head set I was trying to make. I pick it up and gently put it back on the table.
I take a deep breath and walk in the main lab, where the hell is everyone?
'Hello?' I spoke loud enough but I had no reply. Guess I'm all alone...with zee.

I walk in the meeting room with a toothbrush in my mouth and see a note on the wall. Gray your all on your own, we have all gone out to get supplies, we did try to wake you but it was impossible, have fun...the team
Makes sense to why they are gone. I go to the zombie and he starts acting like a monkey literally. How does juvia calm it down. Speaking of juvia I notice her journal on the floor, I wonder what secrets she's writing about in there. No I can't...urgh did it, I'm all ready in hell.

I flip over the pages. She's got the most typical British writing. She writes as if she were the queen literally, it's so neat too. I actually wonder if the queen is alive. I know there are celebs and that still alive. As I read I notice the headline which reads ZEE in capitals.

Zee isn't a monster, we all know he's not the others just don't want to admit it. I feel like he's different to the others out there, I feel like he's just a human in a costume sometimes, but why is he so different.

I chuckle at the paragraph, that was her first entry on zee, I don't get where or how her mind works but it's very creative.

Day Fourteen and zee gave me a slight look. A look that was almost human, a look where he just wanted help. I feel like zee is a zombie with organs that are happily beating.

I looked at the zombie and he just stood there until he caught me staring and it made him go ballistic. I then looked back at the journal and rolled my eyes.

Oh and he hates being stared at, I think it makes him nervous.

'Nervous?, more like psycho' I said to myself giving the zombie a slight stare. I then flipped another few pages.

He's trying to tell me something, I know it. Maybe all zombies have a feeling of regret, fear and confusion, if there was a way to connect with them, maybe we could help them

After that I closed the book and ran to the engineer room and sorted out the headset with more things. I remember juvia giving me a sample of Zees DNA, and I used it with a voice operator. And then I put a thought tracker in there too just to make sure this zombie has a brain.

Five hours later, I'm still alone. I decide to call natsu because I was actually getting worried. 'Yello' he said and I just sighed with relief.
'Jesus man where are you'
'Oh your alive'
'Are you an idiot, when I call you, my name comes up fool'
'Yeah yeah, we just went somewhere far. We found another Kmart and guess what?'
'What?'
'Cold potatas arn't hot' this Texas fool is pissing me off.
'Seriously'
'No im joking, we found actual beds and mattresses. It took longer to break em apart but we just left the shop now'
'Oh right, anyway, I've made something but I'm not going to tell you because it might not work, if it works I'll tell you lot when you come back'
'Kay, see you then'
'Yeah, see ya'

The contact ended and I slowly walked up to the zombie and he just gave me an angry look. 'It's okay, it's fine, I'm nice, I won't hurt you, I need to to trust me, it's just us here, and I need a friend right now' I whispered and quickly put the headset on his head. There was a scanner but no brain showed up. I shrugged and sighed and decided to walk off because I felt like an idiot.

'Help, I'm scared' I then suddenly stopped and looked at the zombie who was just standing there. My eyes widened as the scanner showed a brain on the screen 'please, help me, I'm scared, I never wanted this' how the fuck is this possible. I quickly get a piece of paper and write everything he says down.
'Hey zee, can you hear me' I got no response, because his name isn't really zee. I walk up closer to him and looked in his mouldy green eyes. 'Can you understand me?'
'Yes'
All I did was laugh and jump around because I was so proud of what I have done.
'How do you feel?'
'Scared, confused'
'It's okay, we are trying to help you, now do you remember your name?'
'Lee....lee..Lyon'
'Lyon' I whispered to myself whilst writing down what is ask and what his responses are. 'Tell me Lyon what do you remember?'
'The hospital bed, I get a flu shot but I fell asleep, but I'm awake now, I'm awake'
'Can I go home now' that question made me pause. He doesn't know it's been ten years.
'Lyon, it's been ten years since you fell asleep' what I'm not going to say he's a zombie and freak the guy out, he probs don't even know what they are.
'Ten years? That's a lie, where are my children? My wife? They are waiting for me to get home, I need to get home, they need their dinner'
This was so emotional.

I closed my eyes and sat on the floor. I'm talking to a brain scanner. If you are thinking the zombie is moving his lips, you are dead wrong. I'm talking to a computer on the monsters head. And I actually feel upset. He probably doesn't even know he's speaking to me.
'Listen Lyon, your family are gone. Technically because of you, a virus spread and mostly everyone got infected. Me and the others here, are just the lucky ones. I promise you can start that again, you can be lucky again, I promise' what the hell am I saying. Who knows if I mean it, I don't believe myself right now.

I look at the zombie who is giving me a sad look. I feel so bad right now. I walk up to him about to take his head set off until he says 'Please help me' i sigh and put my hands on the head set.
'I promise' I whispered and took it off the zombie.

Another couple of hours went past and I just sat in the meeting room staring at the zombie acting a bit angry. I got my head a few times on the table until I see the gang walk in the lab. 'Where the fuck have you all been?' I said and they all laughed.
'Just out. Only natsu and Gajeel were meant to go but the rest of us felt a bit stir crazy so we decided to tag along. We did try to wake you but-' levy explained but I put my hand out.
'No you guys left because you all have hangovers' after that, it was silent. I chuckled and everyone just smiled.
'So graham what have you been up too?' Natsu asked. Some reason he seemed to really have pissed me off in that sentence.
'Huh?'
'I said what have you-'
'No what did you call me?'
'Oh I called you graham'
'That ain't my name'
'I know I just wanted to piss you off' he said laughing and I just rolled my eyes.
'Anyway, what have you been up too' juvia asked and I chuckled.

'I've had some bonding time with my new buddy Lyon' I said and all their faces were full of confusion.

Can't wait to show them this...........

Well. You can tell I was a bit bored in this chapter 😂
I wanted to make it emotional and quite intresting.
Gray is very creative isn't he😂👌🏽
Anyway I hope you liked this chapter.
And I wonder if you guys had a feeling zee was really Lyon.
