Chapter 31 ~ Welcome Back

Jellals pov

I slowly wake up and my eyes were stinging like hell. A bright light was shining onto my face making the top of my head sweat. I look around and realise I'm in the same doctors room when me and the team arrived to this place. It wasn't a dream was it?. I didn't really go down to a science room with a load of zombies in it? I have just woken up because I had a pole in my chest. Please tell me all of this was a dream.

'Welcome back jellal, or should I say zombie whisperer' gray laughed and I just weakly sat up with his help.

'Where is everyone? And what did you call me?' I replied and gray just blankly stared at me.

'You forgot?, Damn' he said and I was still confused 'dude you turned yourself into a zombie in order to cure yourself'

'That makes no sense'

'You has to turn yourself in order to cure yourself too. In some way you created a cure for both zombies and humans to share'

'So I did that, how does that help others?'

'Well, your blood has the cure, in order to complete and mix the cure to finalise it, we had to take some of your blood. Your cured man and so is zara'

'The hell is zara?'

'You know the zombie in the glass box. Your blood dose was able to create 60 shots of the cure. And then we cured Zara with one of the shots and then we created another 60 with her blood and then cured all the zombies in the building by doing that certain pattern. We've all been shot with it so if a zombie bites us, we won't turn. Sherry and the others are working on a boat with survivors that they found and we gave them all shots and shit like that and we should be on our way home soon. Sherry is gonna come America with us so she can cure Lyon. But we won't leave until your walking' that speech made my mind go all blank but I think I understood some things of that explanation.

'So no ones in danger?'

'Nope. You saved us man. You saved humanity'

'No, I overheard natsu talking about it with his stupid drunk mind back In the abandoned lab. I just didn't want him to do anything stupid for him to loose everything he wished for. His idea saved humanity' I said and gray chuckled.

'You know what I'll give you both credit. He thought of it, you did it. That's what a team is for right?'

'Right, hey gray can you do something?'

'Sure what?'

'Help me up so we can go back home' I said and gray laughed and helped me up. We both walked to the others Well I limped. I never expected to see a load of people moving about working all together. 4 days ago they were chasing natsu gray and gajeel up four levels up here.

Natsus pov

We al noticed jellal and gray walking in an i was the first to start of the brotherly group hug then gray hugged us and then gajeel. He heard people clap and laugh at our reactions but I didn't care. I got my brothers with me that's all I care about.

'Ready to go home boys' Jude asked and we all nodded laughing.

Jude's pov

We all got on the boat which was finally ready.  Let's say we won't Get on any planes for a while. Sherry said goodbye to her friends and got on the boat and then jellal had help getting on. let's just say I was the last to get on the boat.

Most of London have gotten back to normal with humanity. We were able to find driver for the boat and we were on our way to America.

'THIS BETTER NOT END UP LIKE THE TITANIC!' gajeel yelled making everyone laugh.

We are finally on our way home.
We are ready to start new lives.

Gajeels pov

This is gonna take ages to get to America and me and natsu must share bodies because we are both throwing up right now. 'How long until we see land again?' I heaved and all I could hear was Jude chuckling.

'Not for a long time my boy. Don't worry we'll get there all in one piece' he said and me and natsu just Carried On Throwing up rubbing each other's backs for support. Pretty gross but I'm not really eying him right now.

Grays POV

I went down to were jellal was resting because gajeel and natsu have been throwing up all day and were putting me off my food. 'Hey' I said and jellal got up. I also had to give him his painkillers.

'Hey' he replied slowly getting up. 'Gray can I tell you something but you need to keep a secret' he added and I nodded.

'Sure, What is it'

'I wanna tell erza I love her' I froze for a minute there. This is all so sudden but in a good way.

'Whoa dude'

'Stupid I know, I don't even think she likes me back'

'Course she does. She was more worried about you than us five days ago. We all know she likes you. Just make it a reality' I replied and jellal chuckled.

'Swear the god don't tell anyone'

'I swear I won't say a word' I said and gave jellal his food and we both just are joking around.

I wonder how the girls are. I miss Juvia so much. As soon as I get back imma put her in my arms and hug her for the rest of my life. I'm gonna build her a house in a warmer place in America. As we get older we are gonna have kids and tell them the story on how we survived the zombie apocalypse.

I can't wait to be welcomed back home.
I can't wait to see those big blue eyes which kept me sane and alive through the rest of this survival.

I'm so sad to do this. But the. Happy cos it's taken ages to finish this damn book. I was meant to finish it before Christmas 😂
Anyway it's near done and hopefully it's been a good story for you guys.
