Chapter 19~ hello....father

Lucy's pov

'STAY WHERE YOU ARE!' A group of guys ran out the iron doors and me and the rest of the group held up our hands and walked backwards slowly. The guys made sure that Lyon was covered.

'Please it's me, it's lucy' I said as the gun was pointed at me and natsu quickly shielded me and the man shot the gun in his shoulder making natsu scream 'NO!' I cried and natsu fell on the floor.

'We can't trust any of you, GET OF OUR TURF' one of the guys shouted but then jellal walked over to them with his hands and arms out proving he's not bitten.

Jellals POV
I walked towards the little squad and showed them I wasn't bitten. 'Now if you shoot, I'll shoot, I just wanna talk with you okay' I said and walked away from the group.

'Why are you talking to us, just go back to wherever you came from'

'Look man we have been out for three weeks walking and slightly eating. Our survival house was ambushed. All I'm saying is that we are the same, and we are trying to survive for a reason where as you lot are trying to survive for a life' I explained and they just stared at me.

'What are you doing?'

'Trying to bring the monsters back to their original selfs' they laughed after that and I just pointed at the zombie tied up and then they pointed their guns at it'

'Shoot him, and I'll cut your heads off' erza said and they just stared at him.

'Are you crazy, you think we are going to let you in with that beast'

'Yeah because he is turning, we can hear his thoughts, we can communicate with him because he is patient zero, he is the first ever zombie and the most important too. And we are so close to curing him, so please'

' you can stay but you'll have to pay' the leader said and I chuckled.

'But they are my friends, I bet you don't remember me but my father runs this secret little town for the remaining survivors, he too is working on a cure so please let us in'

'Prove he's your father'

'Jude heartfilia is my father and I am lucy heartfilia. My mother was Layla heartfilia. And we lived in that house standing tall behind this great large wall. So can we come in now' lucy asked and we all looked back at the guards.

'Master Jude, copy master jude......yeah we got some survivors, not bitten but claim they can cure the zombies, they have hold of patient zero....let them in?....okay' he got off the microphone mand looked back at us. 'Follow me' he said and the large iron doors opened. We all followed him inside.

Natsus POV

Damn jellal is good with words. I'm surprised they actually let us in. The soldiers took Lyon and we followed them to a sort of lab thing which looked better than our old one. It's all updated and awesome.

They opened up a glass cage door and there were a group of zombies chained up. Some people threw a bunch of arms and they went crazy fighting each other over them 'patient zero can stay here'

'His name is lyon' juvia snapped and the guard just looked at her. 'Say his name'

'Lyon can stay here' he said and juvia crossed her arms and slowly nodded. 'He'll be eating the same thing as the other zombies or have you turned him pedigree, is he on a diet from humans?' The other guard laughed and we all faked a laugh too.

'Yes actually' I said and the guards stopped laughing. 'He eats two slabs of raw animal meat a night, he refuses body parts because he's well trained, like a little obedient puppy, he knows from right to wrong because he is kore advanced as these blood thirsty monsters, that's why he's called patient zero' I explained and the guys just looked at us and chuckled.

'Well. I guess we will just go see the boss then' the third guard said and let us follow him whilst the fourth guard locked up Lyon.

Then we walked up to the top of a massive stair case and made it in front of two large double doors. That's when lucy made it towards the doors and gave them a soft knock.

'Who is it?' A man muffledly spoke through the door and lucy took a deep breath and shakily exhaled.

'It's me' she said and we heard fast footsteps and the doors quickly opened. The fear, shocked, afraid look on his face was all there.

'Lucy'

'Hello father' she said and we just stood in silence whilst Lucy's father and herself just stared at each other.

Lucy's pov

We sat at the dinner table in silence. I'm surprised he hasn't turned us away I guess he feels guilty for kicking his own daughter out thinking she was bitten.

'So lucy, how have you been out in the world' why did that question book by blood. At least he has the decency to ask.

'Oh Jude it was amazing. You know I was out in the world with zombies. No protection. All alone until I found a bunch of people who wanted to form a team. Oh and we raised a zombie, so I guess that makes my life outside the world even better' I sarcastically spoke and my dad was just cleared his throat.

'Lucy I am very sorry. I was upset and I never thought of my actions. As I am a changed man, I will let you live here again, you and your friends but there are only five rooms available' we all paused and looked around.

'Five?' Erza questioned and my father nodded. Juvia squeaked with excitement.

'That works out perfect for me, since me and my lovely gray-sama are happily together we can share a room' juvia said give giving gray a smirk and making us all chuckle.

'Well then Jude if you don't mind, me and your daughter are pretty close now, so I guess it's fair that we share a room' natsu said and my dad just gave us a cold stare. This is awkward.

'As long as there is no funny business, I'm okay with it. What about the rest of you' Jude said suddenly looking at the remaining team.

'Sir would I be able to have a room, since I'm the youngest here' Romeo said and Jude chuckled and nodded.

'Of course' he said and looked at the others.

'Well I sure as hell ain't sharing with this fool' Gajeel said pointing at jellal.

'Well who says any of us girls want to share with you I sure as hell don't' levy said crossing her arms.

'Umm I will not share with you guys either' erza said getting into the argument which lasted for like 15 minuets.

'It's settled, jellal and erza, and Gajeel and levy' Jude said and they all huffed with annoyance making me natsu, gray and juvia laugh.

'Since dinner is over, you can all go to your bedrooms. I will give you a tour in the morning' my father said and we all left the table. Went to our rooms and got dressed for bed.
