Chapter 14 ~ feelings

Natsus POV
Gray was so desperate for us to see this thing he made and we were all crowded round zee to see grays magic.
I just laughed because gray was putting a headset on the zombie.
'Dude we don't care if you bonded with the zombie and played dress up with it, can we get back to work please' I said and gray rolled his eyes.
'No shush, just let me finish'
'What is it gray?' Wendy said and he turned the headset on and it was scanning something I have no idea what.

'Okay, i read juvias journal which was actually pretty smart. And it gave me an idea. That idea was to create this headset in order to know the zombies feelings. At first I had no ide-'
'I don't get it you read my journal?!' Juvia snapped and gray just stood there. Me and Gajeel snickered but erza gave me a death glare.
We watched gray blink fast and all the girls put their eyes on him. 'Look, its-'
'What else did you see' I wonder what she's hiding.
'Where was I?'
'You had no idea....' Gajeel rephrased and gray nodded.
'Oh yeah right, I had no idea it would work, but as I was walking away he spoke'
'He spoke?' Jellal and Romeo said at the same time and gray nodded a serious nod.
'I may sound crazy?'
'No one is fighting you there' I chuckled and gray just glared.
'But listen' gray said and nearly got bitten by the zombie.

'I still can't believe he read my journal'
'I was bored'
'You could of waited'
'Again I was bored'
'There was personal stuff in there' after juvia said that we all looked at her and she began to blush.
'What kind of stuff juvia?' Levy asked and she just shook her head and sat on the floor like a child.
'None of your beeswax' she crossed her arms and sulked.
Me and Gajeel then checked on with gray and he was still sorting out things.
'Okay done' gray said stepping back. Everyone kept there eyes on the zombie and I stared to piss gray off by checking my watch.

'Gray-'
'It will work' gray said interrupting lucy and he kept his eyes onto the zombies eyes. 'Come on Lyon' he muttered.
I clapped my hands loud and sighed.
'Well I'm going back to figure out job roles, call me if something happens' I said and gray grabbed my arm.
'I'm not lying'
'Oh no course not, I mean we just watched a hoax'
'Natsu I'm serious, he spoke to me'
'Oh he can move his ripped up lips'
'In his mind'
'Oh so he's magic now'
'NATSU-'
'NO GRAY, HES A ZOMBIE, HE HAD NO FEELINGS, HE CANT TALK, HES A MONSTER THAT EATS PEOPLE. HE CANT TALK WOTH HIS MIND, YOUR LITTLE HEADSET IS A WASTE OF TIME' I snapped and everyone just stared at us.
'I'm not lying, he has feelings'
'Yeah and I'm part of the royal family, your still hung over and confused' after I said that I walked off into the office room and just read the map.

Grays pov
I'm in the inventing room and I just throw everything everywhere. The other guys are building up the beds and I'm just so angry right now.
I didn't imagine that did i?
I wasn't dreaming, all that really happened?

'Hey Tasmanian devil, wanna calm down' I stopped when juvia was standing by the door and she giggled walking closer to me.
'Here to gloat'
'No, I'm here to slap you round the face but you seem upset so I won't do anything' she said and I just looked at her confused. 'You see that's a feeling' she added and I rolled my eyes.
'I'm angry, not upset'
'Aren't we all?'
'Huh?'
'We are all angry, natsu is defiantly angry, but he always is'
'What's your point?'
'My point is that everyone and everything has a feeling'
'Juvia, I love how your mind works but it confuses me so much sometimes'
'Gray listen, I believe that zee has feelings-'
'Lyon'
'Huh'
'His name, its lyon'
'I don't get you'
'Zee is called Lyon' I said and juvia chuckled and looked in my icy blue eyes whilst I looked in her ocean blue eyes.
'If you want to change the zombies name be my guest but-'
'Juvia he told me his name, we had a full on convosation'
'Maybe he just trusts you, that's a feeling'
'I believe you, but I wish I was able to see it' she said and I rose an eyebrow.

Juvias POV

It was a very awkward dinner tonight. No one spoke to each other. As it was Lucy's turn to do dishes, she quickly walked away and so did everyone else.

It's been five hours and it's 5am. I haven't slept since. I found a bottle of vodka which still has half a bottle and poured myself a shot. As I drink I'm looking at the zombie and he's giving me that sad look again even though he looks angry.
I wonder if gray is right. Maybe he didn't imagine it. I know myself there is something about this zombie. Maybe he's trying to cure himself in a way.
'What are you doing up?' I heard grays voice and I just jumped a bit which made him chuckle. He came over to sit down next to me. And it was a bit awkward, my heart was beating so fast for some reason.
'I could say the same thing' I quietly spoke and gray just chuckled again.
'I was gonna check if I really imagined the whole zombie speaking thing' I lightly giggled at his response and we both just looked at the zombie.
'No ones stopping you' i said and gray gave me a smile and got up connecting the headset on zee.
We waited for a while. Half an hour to be exact and got a bit bored.

'Maybe it was just the hangover gray' I said and he just sat there looking annoyed.
'Maybe' he finally replied and got back up, but as soon as he got near zee he heard a beating heart. I too was very confused but who knows I've had a few shots along with gray who only had two he's good at holding liquor in.
'Gray'
'Do you hear that?, that's a heartbeat?' Gray laughed and I just smiled getting back up. I ran to Wendy's infirmary and got those heart checking thingys and put the ear things in my ears and put the shines jeart checker thing to where zees heart is supposed to be.
I can't believe it...the stuff levy is giving him is slowly working.
'Hey zee' I said and I had no response
'His name is Lyon' gray said and I gave him a look.
'Hi Lyon'
'H-help me' I have never been more amazed in my life. I began to cry because gray is finally not crazy.
'Hey man, how do you feel?'
'Feelings, I f-f-feel feelings' I just stood there in awe. He has feelings.
'What feelings?' I asked and gray just chuckled.
'Regret' we both stood there in sympathy. 'Scared' his responses are slowly breaking my heart 'alone'
'Can you see us Lyon?' The zombie growled making me and gray step back a bit.
'Darkness, only hear angels'
'Don't worry Lyon, we are helping you, have some rest now' gray said and took the head set off the zombie.
We just had a laughing fit and he picked me up and spun around. 'I TOLD YOU I WASNT CRAZY' he laughed making me laugh. When gray put me down we just looked in each other's eyes.
'Now I got a lot of feelings' I chuckled and gray chuckled.
'Tell me, I could help you' he said and I just blushed.
'Happy, exited, nervous'
'About what' he asked and I quickly pecked my lips on his. It shocked me, I never thought I would do this.

I parted away from the kiss and he just stared at me with a small smile. It was awkward at first so I decided to break the silence. 'That's what I was nervous for'
'Oh really' he smirked and picked me up making me giggle. 'Well I could say the same thing' he whispered and kissed me again.
We then stopped once we heard natsu clear his throat. And gray quickly put me down.

Natsus POV

I walk in the lab and see gray and juvia talking to the zombie and he was talking back.
After that they bloody end up having a makeoit session, I'd rather not set fire to my eyes using my gun.
I then cleared my throats and they suddenly stopped and I just walked closer to them.
'Did I hear, what you both heard?, did it just talk?' I asked very amazed and shocked, Gray and juvia laughed nodding. Here is something that I will never say or do again. I held my hand out to gray so he could shake it. 'Sorry man' I said and gray chuckled and shook my hand back.
'It's alright natsu, everyone just had a load of feelings today and we were all stressed, tired and confused. But I forgive you' he said and we all chuckled.

I'm sorry guys, but I needed to add a romantic scene in the story, because that's what the genre is sort of. Romcom horror.
Anyway I hope you liked it.
I might do a time skip tomorrow.
I need to change the scenery 😉
