Wendy's pov

It's been a week since natsu left us. We are still on the road but we are all getting there. We miss him obviously but he's a grown person, he makes his own decisions. Lucy has been quite sad because I think she liked him a bit. Life sucks.

'Should we hide out here?' Gray asked and we all nodded. It was safe enough, litually an abandoned shed. I don't know how we are al, going to fit, but at least it's something.

Romeos POV

We all wake up and hear a little girl screaming. Jellal was the first one out since he's the oldest and that he wanted to. Erza followed him after. We all stayed in the shed and was worried.

Erzas POV

Me and jellal left the shed and saw a little girl being chased by a very fast zombie. I went to run to her but jellal kept me behind him 'we have to save her' I said and he just looked. He then pointed at her as she fell to the ground.
'She's bitten' he said and before the zombie got to the girl, jellal shot her in the head leaving me speechless and very shocked.
The zombie then turned and ran towards us and jellal shot the beast in the brain making it flop onto the floor.

'HOW THE FUCK CAN YOU DO THAT!' I yelled and swore for like the first time in my Life. 'She was a little girl, we could have helped her'
'She was bitten erza' was all he said and I thought he was dumber than the other boys at this moment.
'What do we have in there jellal?' I said 'what do we have'
'Erza I know we have another zombie but children are more stronger since they can't control themselves, a adult zombie has the chance to give up and know when it's full but kids, they go on and on, the more blood, the more strength, that's why I shot her' I just stood there in silence and jellal banged his hand on the door. 'COME ON GUYS ITS FREE TO STROLL AROUND' jellal cheered and I just rolled my eyes.

Lucy's POV

It's bee. Two hours of walking...AGAIN. And we hear a growl. From each corner. All we could do was stay calm and form a circle. That's when from each side a load of zombies came staggering towards us.
My heart was beating so fast out of fear. We all backed up until our shoulders connected and the zombies went closer.
'They could sense Lyon, that's why they are here' gray said and we all remained in silence.

'Guys, I'm scared' Wendy cried and we all looked at her and I took a deep breath.
'Hey Wendy its going to be fine, I promise' I whispered and we were officially surrounded by zombies.

'Guys, it was nice knowing ya, but there's way to much to fight back' Gajeel said and had his arrow aimed at a few zombies.
'I love you guys, it was great having a family' Romeo said and I just cried because we never got to finish the mission. We never got to heal the world.

We all looked at the zombies and they were so close to us all, Wendy screamed because she was terrified on what was going on. 'Just close your eyes wendy' I said and we all held hands and closed our eyes.

They got closer and closer

We all heard a gun shot and a large circle of fire burnt the zombies around us whilst we remained in our circle completely confused.
We watched the zombies turn to ashes and juvia got out her gun to get rid of the fire.
As the smoke cleared we all saw a faint figure and as it got closer we noticed that spiky pink hair and bright green onyx eyes. The girls smiled whilst me and the other guys just glared.

'Hey guys, ready to hit the road?' That fool, he thinks he can just turn up and decide he's in our team again. 'I missed you all' that Texan accent makes me just want to slap him around the face. 'Luce I missed ya too' I scoffed and walked towards him as if I was going to hug him..

...but I decided to slap him around the face and I made sure it stung and tinted his face with a red hand mark.
'Fool' was all I said and the guys just laughed until we heard Wendy scream again.
  I ran over to her and natsu followed and we saw erza lay the twelve year old down.  'What happened?' I asked and juvia was crying.

'She got bit' was all Gajeel said and I just felt my heart crunch and slowly crack when he said that line........
