I kept running blindly till i was too tired to move. I bend forward, my hands on my knee trying to catch my breath. My tears has already dried. I looked around trying to assimilate my surroundings.
Oh no. Where am I?
Shit! How can I be so pathetic? First I have been made a fool from my first and only love and now I am lost! Fresh tears starts gushing out.
What's that sound? I looked up and cried in dismay. Can it become worst than this? The far away thunder snarled. I looked around and rushed to a nearby bus-stop. Lightning sizzled across the sky and the dark clouds opened up, spewing torrential rain, drenching me in a couple of seconds. The rain was ice cold and as sharp as needles. I finally made it and sat down shivering on the provided bench. Good thing the bus-stop was covered overhead. The roads were isolated, with no one in sight. I took out my phone and called Ming.
"Ai Ming, c...can you please c....c...ome to take me?" My teeth started chattering as the cold seeps deeper into my bones.
"What happened? Where are you? What about P'Pha?"
"I don't k..know! I'm l..lost. Please c..come!"
"Alright Yo, remain where you are. I'm already in my car. I'm coming! I'm tracking your location through your mobile. You are not far, i will reach there in 15 minutes maximum. Stay safe!"
I was relieved that Ming was coming. Suddenly I felt something drape over me, a huge black jacket was covering my shoulders. I looked up and my breath lodged in my throat. A dark figure shrouded in darkness was standing in front of me. The street light was dim therefore I couldn't make out his features but I could feel his dark, penetrating gaze plagued with curiosity on me. He crossed his arms and regard me silently. I felt strange, I was supposed to be afraid but I wasn't. In fact, I felt a warm feeling coming from him.
"What are you doing here nong?"
His deep baritone startled me and I jumped slightly. "Are you lost?".
"Huhhh no P, i'm waiting for my friend," I was already feeling warm because of the huge monster of a jacket covering me. A car passed and lit the dark backdrop , illuminating his features.
Oh my god!
He was the epitome of a manly man! Although he looked to be only 1-2 years older than me, he looked so much mature and manly. He has the kind of face that could stopped you in your tracks. I guess he must know it as he emanates an infuriatingly justified self-confidence. His big muscles, piercings and full tattooed arms were very intimating. ( Somehow i can't imagine Tae-below with tattoos, he's perfect the way he is right now)

"You shouldn't be out by yourself alone. What if some bad guys came across you! And look at you, wearing a thin shirt in a weather like this? Are you suicidal nong!"
"It's not like that P! I was not prepared for a situation like this but now i'm fine thanks to you. Thank you P!" I gave him a small smile.
Just then a car stopped on the other side of the road and Ming came out. He gestured wildly for me to come quickly. "I assume this must be your friend, take care nong and don't ever be reckless like this again", he smiled and ruffled my hair.
As I stand to leave I realised I still have his jacket, "P your jacket!"
"It's ok keep it, you need it more."
He turned and stalked into the rain, disappearing in the dark. I ran quickly to the car.
"How did you come to this place? and who is that guy?"
"Later Ming, I'm too tired right now." I burrowed further into the jacket and fell asleep.
Three days later
I was finally recovering from the nasty fever which had me bed bound for the last three days.
"Ai Yo! Back from the land of dead I see!" Ming shouted as soon as he entered my room. "We got so many freaking homework! I swear the teachers are trying to kill us. Anyway i brought your homework and all my notes for you to catch up". He was already uploading all the books on my desk.
"Ai Ming, are you not going to ask me about what happened back then?" Ming paused then turned to me, "I know you will tell me whenever you are ready. I won't force you, take your time." He turned around refusing to meet my eyes.
I gave him a small grateful smile and said,"I will, you know me too well. Anyway see you at school tomorrow"
"What?" , he shouted.
"Shit asshole lower your voice! Why are you so surprised? It's normal for me to want to go back to school now that I have recovered!"
"Huhhh....no Yo! You should take at least a week! You were very sick you know!"
"Stop acting weird! Why are you nervous?"
"It's nothing. Are you sure you cannot stay home longer?" "No I'm bored already. I want to go to school. What's wrong with you?"
He didn't say anything. He seemed worried and alarmed for the rest of his stay. After I was left alone I start to think about what happened three days ago. My heart was still paining a lot, however it's my fault for thinking I could reach the stars! Look at me and look at him! He is perfection while I am a just a thin kid with bad skin. Did i really overestimated myself in thinking that I could ever win the heart of such a man, after-all it took a bet for him to date me.I felt my self-esteem shrinking to the size of a scarab beetle!
Sighed
Thinking about the bright side, I dated the guy of my dream and got memories for a lifetime! At least I know I held his hand and watched him smile and laugh. It is going to be very hard but not seeing him anymore at school will help. Yes! I can do this! I must be strong. Forget the past and move on.

End of flashback in next part 😉 from Wayo's POV. I will have another chapter on flashback from Phana's Pov but I have yet to decide where I will input it. I hope you guys are enjoying till now. Let me know if you think I tend to go in too much details or if you guys are finding it boring. I know I exaggerate the beauty of some characters, they seemed too perfect to be human! But well, it's a novel so why not go full out!
p.s: I'm spoiling you with daily updates, but i will get busy real soon so i will stick to maximum 3-4 updates per week in the near future.
