Chapter 21:

I pulled away and saw Jason moving the hair out of my eyes, he really was a good person. I've always thought of him as a player, a popular, a.. Jerk. But I was wrong. I judged him to quickly and he surprised me.

"What are you thinking about now Jade?" He asked, smirking.

"You." A grin, causing him to put my forehead against his.

"We should be partners more often." He winked. Such a flirt.

I smile and nod my head. Before he presses his lips against mine again.

Then we hear a knock on the door.

"Jason I want to come in NOOOOOW."

Quin.

She just ruined this moment, sometimes kids make me frustrated.

Jason looks at me and puts his head down on his hand, apparently disappointed that she ruined our kiss.

But his reaction makes me laugh and I lay down on the bed while he gets up to the door.

"Quin, go to your room and play dolls or whatever you like to do." He says, wiggling his finger across the hallway.

"I want to come in here!" She screams as she runs right through Jason's legs and jumps straight on the bed.

"Hey Jason I think I better be going anyway soo-"

"Noooo you can't go back home now. I mean, we still gotta talk. I'm your ride anyway." He smiles, while he picks Quin up by her fragile little body and carries her out of the door.

I laugh and lay my hands down behind me.

"Okay? What do you want to tell me then?" I ask.

I can hear Quin pout outside the door but then it stops. I think she gave up.

"I told you Quin is annoying, sorry about that." He jumps back on the bed, landing right next to me.

"Well I should be going soo, you should take me home now."

"Go? Now? Well I think we should call up Ally and have her take you to her place to spend the night. You can't go back to your house I don't allow it." He says, getting up and grabbing my phone.

"Jason stop!" I laugh, while reaching for the phone.

He laughs and holds the phone above his head. I hate this game.

I stand there with my arms crossed and pout.

"Awww Jade." he says, pinching my cheeks. "Where's your mom when this stuff happens anyway? You can go to her house instead."

My expression on my face goes blank.

He didn't know about my mother.

I turned around and say back on the bed, suddenly I was angry, but why? I shouldn't expect him to know my Mother is dead, how would he have known?

"What? Did I say something wrong?" He rushes to me, sitting down near me.

"My Mothers dead Jason." I say, trying not to make this any awkward than it has to be.

"Jade, I'm- I'm so sorry I didn't know I-"

"How could you? I mean, she died a long time ago, it's fine don't worry about it." I say, getting up.

"I'm ready to go now, take me to Ally I don't care I just kinda want to go." I say, yup I made this situation awkward. Way to go Jade.

"Alright well, he grabs my photography book for me, let's go."

We get downstairs and Quin isn't by us the whole way down and out of the house, shocking.

We get in the car and Jason starts taking the route to Ally's.

"Does she know I'm coming?" I ask him.

"Yeah, she does." He replies.

It's silent for a minute and then Jason coughs and starts speaking up.

"I really didn't know about your mother Jade I'm really sorry."

"Don't be, I bet a lot of people don't know." I say, a little to cold. But I couldn't help it, I just had a little part of me angry over this.

We reach Ally's and I get out.

I totally forgot to, Ally knows about my father also.

Gosh, they might team up and do something, I better make sure he didn't add her as a contact.

"Do you have Ally's number?" Well that came out obvious.

"Ummm.. No?"

"Alright good." I'm about to slam the door when Jason opens his and comes beside me.

He grabs my waist and brings me close to him, causing me to grin.

"I almost forgot." He said, as he leaned in and kissed me on my lips, just as perfect as before.

"Goodbye." He smiles, walking back into the car.

"Bye." I wave, was he heads off.

I head into Ally's house and Ally is standing right by the window, watching everything. She turns to me with her hands on her hips.

"Alright now tell me what I've been missing the past few days missy."
