11/15/17 pointless requesting.

Hello!

Our group, for quite some time now, have been discussing this issue of people requesting a graphic without any intention of using it whatsoever, but only requested it just to see how it would look—which is more so simply for their entertainment, and therefore a total waste of our time. We did mention this in the rules of this book, and some of you may know from our past individual graphic shops that we've mentioned this issue numerous times as well.

Since this is a fairly new graphic account, we will go ahead and say it again just for good measure.

PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST IF YOU DO NOT INTEND ON USING THE GRAPHIC!

PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST FOR A COVER WHEN YOU DO NOT EVEN HAVE A CHAPTER IN YOUR DRAFTS!

PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST FOR A LAYOUT IF YOU INTEND ON CHANGING IT FREQUENTLY, OR EVEN WORSE, DON'T INTEND TO USE IT AT ALL!

PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST FOR A GIF BANNER IF YOU DON'T INTEND ON USING IT AT ALL!

All of our members are exhausted from all of these issues, since they are sadly reoccurring. And honestly, from our observations, it is becoming more uncontrollable due to our shop's audience growing.

Please be smart about requesting. If you don't even have a draft for your book, and the idea for your story is only a mere thought in your head, it is best that you wait before requesting. We really don't want to have to put in a rule that will require your book to be published before we even start your request. We understand that some authors want to publish their book with a cover right away, so please be smart in requesting so you don't have to take this away from other authors.

Please do not request for a layout if you are the type of person who frequently changes their layout. As you may have noticed, whenever our members make layouts for themselves, they usually keep it for a long period of time, maybe 2-4 months for each layout. We understand that some people like how these layouts look and would like to have a different one constantly because they like them so much, but please understand that these layouts take a long time to make, that there are other people waiting for their requests, and if these layouts will only be kept for a short time, then they are essentially a waste of our time.

We love you all and we're so grateful for everyone who even takes their time just to take a quick look at our graphics, your support truly means the world to us. However, please remember that this is not our job. None of us get paid for this, this is only a hobby and we only do this for enjoyment. Whenever we make a graphic, we work our fucking asses off to make it to the best of our abilities, so you can imagine how we would feel if we found out that any of these requests weren't going to be used.
