I watched him race away, an incredulous look on my face. I didn't know whether to laugh or roll my eyes at his silly bow to me.

"What if he knows about Cheshire?" I thought. "Inviting him over would be a death wish."

I looked up to see the girls looking at me, with an expression appropriate to one of which an atomic bomb just dropped on the table.

"What?"

"Andrew asked you out, that's what!" Nicole said excitedly.

Before I could correct her and tell her that it was just a friendly meet up for work, Casey started squealing excitedly.

"Oh... I can see the wedding already!" She exclaimed, slamming her hand on the table.
"It has to be dead romantic, held in Autumn with foxes running around with everyone  dressed in vintage outfits.."

"No, you forgot about the food! It should be a big buffet event, with popcorn, chocolate fondue and of course with a large wedding cake.. it could be a food themed wedding!" Added Summer enthusiastically.

Selina rolled her eyes at them jokingly as she took a large gulp of her drink in her hand.

"Don't listen to those two, let me tell you on how to keep a boy, especially ones with the likes of Andrew. So first things first, you have to make sure that-"

Nicole shoved a piece of paper into my hands. It contained the plans of what looked like a canvas with lots of hearts, ribbons, teddies, red and pink coloured themes and a couple in the center of it that looked suspiciously like me and Andrew.

"This is a "love canvas" which you can hang over you and Andrew's bed after you get married."

"It isn't like that," I insisted," we're only going for a study thing,"

"Whatever you say, Cerise," Summer said, with a devilish grin on her face.

"He is so into you."Chirped Selina happily.

I just shrugged, doubting it. If he was the descendent of Merlin, this could be a sick ploy to do me in.

"Like I said, it's only a study thing." I repeated, and the girls giggled more.

School was the same for the rest of the day, listening to lectures, talks and getting more homework and assignments.

After the bell rang, I quickly packed up my bag and bid my friends goodbye before making a beeline for the gates where Terence was.

I was trying to get away from Andrew.

Just as I was about to get into the car, I heard someone call my name.

"Cerise! Wait up!"

I turned around to look at who it was. It was Andrew.

I cursed the fact that I was not fast enough, but put on a nice face and acted like I had no idea or forgotten about helping him with homework.

We made some friendly small talk and soon he got into the car with me. I tried to ignore him by taking out my textbook and reading it, though the words had little meaning.

All I could hear was my heartbeat, sounding like sirens blaring.

Terence drove into the familiar driveway, and stopped right in front of our house doors.

He stooped over the car door, helping me and Andrew out.

Andrew scrambled out of the car quickly, spinning around in wonder and amazement. I bit my lip to stop myself from laughing,he looked like he was on the verge of tears.
