It had been only a few hours after the funeral when I found myself alone. Alone for the first time in days. It was rather weird, if you asked me, how much my friends seemed to watch over me.

I mean, what would I do?

I wasn't exactly strong enough to do much. Climb to the top of a building to end my life? Three steps would make me so tired I felt like collapsing. Drink alcohol and get so wasted I do something I regret? I couldn't drink anything without vomiting.

I couldn't do anything...

So here I sit, my back pressed against my car as I stare up at the ceiling of the parking garage. It was rather cracked and uneven. Surprisingly aged even if the building it was attached to was fairly new.

I simply stare at the cracks, committing them to memory. What else was I supposed to do? I had nothing else to do.

I didn't have the will to do anything.

Not only was food beyond me. Not only was my energy slowly depleting as malnourishment overtook my body.

No, food was not the only thing weighing me down.

My guilt was taking chunks out of me. Every time I would close my eyes my mother would appear. Her smiling face would speak to me softly, reminding me of everything she did for me. Reminding me of everything I never did for her.

I couldn't do this. I had never had to deal with guilt before. Why start now?

Because you messed up. Big time.

There he was again...

"Can you just leave me alone?" My voice was echoey. It bounced off of the cement walls and hit my eardrums repeatedly.

I didn't want to deal with him again. Every word was like another weight being placed atop my shoulders for me to deal with. It was terrible...

I can't. I'm sorry to break it to you but I can't.

I let out a sigh, closing my eyes. I just wanted a moment of quiet without him blabbering on about whatever it is he was.

Just a moment...

But alas, it seemed fate didn't want to give me a moment.

Ah, so it begins...

With the end of his words was an alluring scent. As the man disappears I felt an unnatural energy course through me, filling my veins with adrenaline and my muscles with strength.

For a moment panic flashed through my mind, but, as most other things, it was pushed back as I sat up. My nose flares, the scent only becoming stronger with the passing moments.

There you are... just a little more...

A small clicking noise echos through the garage. Within a moment a preppy blonde was walking between the cars, her tan heels clicking as she did. In her hands were keys, which sparkled in the artificial light.

However, the women was holding a napkin to her cheek. Perhaps she had popped a pimple or cut herself on something on her way out. Either way, the crimson liquid sent waves of pleasure through my body as I watched it soak through the napkin.
