Good to be Back

It felt good to finally be back in Australia. It felt like Sharna hadn't seen it in a million years.

Artem wanted to take the kids sightseeing with Sharna, so they did that, and that night, Sharna sat down with her mum to play a game of catch up.

"How are you doing, Baby?" Her mother asked.

Sharna nodded. "I'm great." She lied through her teeth. She didn't want to lie to her mum, but she also didn't want to get into the technicals.

"No you're not, Baby."

"Yes, yes I am. Artem and I are great! And Ember, Noah, we're all great." Tears filled the corners of her eyes. Her mum rubbed her hand up and down her shoulder. Sharna sighed at her gesture.

"What's really going on with you?" She asked.

"A lot of everything. But, I just need sleep, I'll be perfectly fine in the morning."

Artem came into the room right after she said that. "I'm sorry, do you mind if I steal Sharna for just a moment?"

"Go ahead." Mrs. Burgess said.

Artem nodded and grabbed Sharna's hand. "Hey, Babe, um...the Australian version cancelled us. I just got the call."
