Mistakes and Consequences

"How are you doing, Shar? Truthfully." Peta was over to have a day with Sharna, Ember, and now Noah, as Artem was out doing the last bit of shopping.

She scoffed. "Just...why?" She chuckled. "Why the heck am I putting up with this?"

"With what?" Peta asked her sister, laying a hand on her shoulder.

"This! I mean, he made the mistakes with Hayley, he cheated, he had an affair, he made the mistakes and he can't accept the consequences, well, at least Hayley couldn't."

"Shar, everything happens for a reason. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise." Peta suggested.

"Sure, maybe," Sharna began, but was cut off by Peta.

"No, think of it this way: you now have a son, and didn't have to go through morning sickness and all the rest of it that comes with pregnancy, and someone trusted you so much that you would give this child the best life he can have! That says a lot, Babe."

"Maybe it does...I still don't know."

"You'll figure it out. I know you will."
