It was truthfully a miracle that neither Sharna nor Artem had just completely jumped ship through this whole process.
Sharna knew this whole time that she needed a reliable source of income, so back to The States she was.
After packing up the kids, giving her parents a final hug and kiss, Sharna was off to the airport. Again.
She dialed up Peta on her way there to have her tell everyone she was coming back and that she was taking her spot as a pro.
"Hey, Love, what's up."
"Hey, so...okay, I'm coming back to LA with the kids, taking my place as a pro, and hopefully not getting a divorce?" She chuckled as best she could.
"Sharna," Peta laughed. "Don't joke like that. Everything will be fine. I'll pick you up, okay?"
"Okay." Sharna nodded to herself.
"See you then, I'll track your flight."
"Alright. Thanks." With that, the call was ended and Sharna was at the airport.
They boarded their plane with no problems which helped, both babies were fast asleep, and when the plane took off, they seemed to be in LA in a matter of seconds.
Sure enough, after baggage claim, Peta was there, waiting for Sharna.
"Hi, Babe." Peta called out. "You good? You're looking a bit rough." She half smiled.
"Just exhausted is all. Just want to go home, you know?"
"I get it, are you still at the old apartment?"
"Yeah, Artem got it back."
"Got it." Peta pulled from the lot, seeing as they had reached the car, and Peta drove to the apartment.
"Well," Peta said once they got there. "This is a bit of a throwback."
"Yeah, yeah it is." Sharna laughed and took a deep breath. Peta grabbed her bags, and Sharna grabbed her children and they went inside.
This was home. They were back.
