Once Upon A Time In Konoha (SasuSaku Fanfiction)

Chapter Eight

As they are walking to the Hidden Sound Village to deliver the scroll..

"Uhm.. Sasuke, thank you again for buying me these clothes. It's really thoughtful of you to-"

"Hn. Whatever, princess." he said as he walked faster.

Sakura sighed. Juugo noticed it so he comforted her.

"Hey. Are you okay, your highness?"

"Yes, of course I am! But why does he have to be so stubborn?!"

"Ah.. Don't worry about Sasuke-sama. He's always like that at first. But once you get to know him, he really has a golden heart."

"I beg your pardon?!? A golden heart, or a heart for gold???"

They both laughed until Suigetsu blurted out,

"Hey princess, I have to tell you something.."

"What is it?"

"You look beautiful in that dress!"

"W-Well..uh.. Thank you."

( she's wearing green floral designed dress. )

"Hey Four-Eyes, why can't you look like a lady for once, huh?"

"Shut it Sharky! Well, what can you expect from a rich spoiled brat!?!"

With that she stormed off and caught up to their leader.

They are already in the Sound Village and went to a nearby inn.

"Suigetsu, stay here and keep an eye on the Princess. Do NOT let her out."

"Yeah, yeah."

"Juugo and Karin, come with me." Sasuke ordered.

"I'm coming Sasuke-kun!!" Karin followed as the closed the door behind them.

"Where are they going?"

"Selling the scroll we stole to our buyer." he answered as he sat next to her on the edge of the bed.

Sakura just raised an eyebrow.

"What?"

"Are you even happy what you are doing?"

"Huh???"

"I mean, stealing our ancestors' scrolls!"

"Oh.. ah, I guess so."

"But you are noted as the most wanted criminals in the whole shinobi world!! Aren't you even bothered about that?!"

After thinking for a few seconds..

"Princess, it's complicated. We are all orphans, so it's the easiest way to get money."

"But you could just get a more 'decent' job, you know. Aren't you even tired of running from ANBUs?"

"Kinda... But still. It's more exciting and thrilling than living a normal, boring life."

"Uhm.. yeah. I guess your right."

After an hour of waiting, Sasuke, Karin and Juugo finally returned with a bag of money..

"Hi boss. So, how's the business?" Suigetsu asked

Sasuke just smirked and said,

"A success as usual. But, all in all, I have to thank the idiot who suggested the masquerade theme at the museum.. If it weren't for him, we wouldn't easily steal that scroll."

Sakura fumed at hearing these words.

I am no idiot!

"You're very welcome." she bitterly said which made all eyes land on her.

"Princess, what are ta- oh, so you were the one who did that, am I correct?" the young Uchiha forced himself not to laugh.

"So? Big deal!"

"Oh, but it is. That just means that you help us. So technically, you will go to jail too when we get caught for this."

What the heck?!? Me, going to JAIL??? her Inner ranged.

Karin, Juugo and Suigetsu then started to giggle upon seeing the really really, pissed off Princess.

"Grrrrrrr!!!!! Uchiha, I promise when I get back to Konoha I will order all the ANBU officers to deep fry that chicken stuck up on that head of yours!!!!"

After that laughter bursted out throughout the hallways...
