Chapter Twenty-Nine

"STOP THE WEDDING!"

"H-Huh??"

Everyone in the room turned to where the voice came from. And was all shocked to see...

"T-TenTen-chan?!?"

Neji mumbled, completely shocked to see his childhood bestfriend standing at the opening of the church door. She was huffing, indicating that she must have ran towards here.

"Neji-kun! Please don't leave me!!!" TenTen begged as her eyes became watery.

Everyone in the room -Kages, ANBUs, Lords, and Royalties- all became dumbfounded with the happenings around them.

Sakura, was the one who was confused the most.. Well, you can't blame her there, just when she was about to say 'I don't want to!', a random brunette comes yelling in 'stop the wedding!'

Well, she could just AT LEAST finish what I wanted to say!!!! \(>o<)/

How ironic, isn't it Inner?..

"Who is this girl?!"

Kizashi exclaimed while eyeing the brunette who interrupted the wedding.

Neji, on the other hand, just looked at her confused. What on Earth is she doing?

"N-Neji-kun.. please. Don't leave me!"

"T-TenTen-chan, what are you talking about?"

"Neji, you quite, freakin' handsome bastard prince who can't even kill a fly.. I-I love you!!!"

"W-What?"

"Neji-kun.. I love you. Ever since we were young, I had a crush on you.. Remember how we used to play in the mansion garden, and h-how I taught you to throw a kunai when we were just seven?"

"TenTen-chan.."

~FLASH BACK~

One hot summer morning, a seven-year-old bruntte decided to play her kunais deep in the forest.

"Bullseye!"

Just then, she heard a rustling noise from the behind bushes.

"Huh?"

Then, she saw a boy with the same age as hers, stumbling out of it with a 'hmph!'. He had long dark brown hair tied into a ponytail and pearl white eyes.

"Hey, what's your name?" she inquired

He just shook his head

"Oh come on! Don't be shy, pretty boy. My name's TenTen." she introduced and reached her hand out for a handshake.

"N-Neji. Hyuuga Neji." he answered

"Okay.. Uhm.. Hey Neji-kun, what are you doing here in the woods?"

"I-I got lost."

"Hm.. Tell me where you live, and maybe I know the way."

"S-Sure. I live in the Hyuuga Clan Mansion."

"Oh! I know where that is! Come on, I'll escort you home."

"...O-Okay."

"Oi, Neji-kun, why are you stuttering?"

"B-Blade.. P-Pointed blade." he said and pointed at the kunai the girl was still holding.

"Oh this?" she twirled the kunai on her index finger "This is a kunai! I can teach you how to use it if you like."

Only then did the boy's eyes lightened up. "Really?!"

"Yeah, sure. You know, my family owns a weapon shop near here. So, instead of playing Barbie dolls, daddy taught me how to use them to defend myself!"
