Chapter Twenty

The five were now in the Hidden Rock Village to steal the "Ruby Jutsu Scroll"

But this time, only Suigetsu, Karin and Juugo were the ones to do the work, while Sakura and Sasuke were now walking around town.

Clearly got bored of waiting half day in the inn..

"Hey, Sasuke, where are we going?"

"Somewhere."

"Oh, come on! Tell me!"

"It's a secret."

"Damn it Uchiha!"

"Hn. You're annoying."

"What the-!"

She soon paused when she saw the surroundings in front of her.

Streets were filled with food vendors at each corner; near them, were stands heaping with colorful stuff toys of different kinds. There were also rides here and there.. And a LOT of people.

"This is a.."

"Festival. Today is coincidencely this village's yearly 'Fireworks Festival'." he explained.

"Fireworks?!"

Sakura's eyes sparkled with delight, which made Sasuke smirked.

"Hn."

"HELL YEAH! Come on, Sasuke! Let's go on that one!" she excitedly dragged him to the roller coasters.

After an hour of non-stop riding on various rides,

"Are you hungry?" the raven asked

"Yeah."

"Stay here. I'll go get us something to eat.." he said as he left her sitting on a wooden bench.

She stubbornly puffed her cheeks and placed both her elbows on her thighs, and rested her head on the palms of her hands.

Booorrriinnnggg!!!!!!  (-.-)

Just then, she spotted a stall filled with stuff animal prizes.

KYAAAA!!! They are so cute!

She rushed to the said stall and was greeted by an old man in his mid-forties.

"Why hello there miss! Wanna give it a shot? Today might just be your lucky day!" he said.

"Sure!"

"Here, only 50 Ryo per try." he stated as he placed a ball in her hand. Sakura gave him the money and concentrated..

Okay Sakura, you can do this..

Go! Go Saku! Go! Go! Go Saku!!!! her Inner cheered as she threw the ball.

Miss.

She missed the target and fumed.

"Damn it! Here!" she gave him the money and snatched another ball.

Miss.

"Argh!!!"

( Fast Forward: After five, sorrowful and frustrating mins.. )

"Kami-sama! I almost got it!!!" the pinkette yelled and grabbed another ball.

You can't blame her if you tried to hit it for the fifteenth time and miss..

Anyway...

Miss.

"GOD DAMN IT! WHAT THE HECK?!??!"

"Ahem."

"Huh?"

She turned around and saw a crimsom-haired teen, gazing at her with full amusement.

"One please."

He told the man, as he gave him the money and grabbed the ball.

He threw it.
