Calum's POV

Finally the day was done and me and Hazel were the only two in detention. I was exhausted and I didn't even know why. When the teacher wasn't looking I pulled out my phone and started texting people.

From Austin:
Still coming over tonight so we can work on the plan?

I replied to Austin with a simple no, it's better that we don't beacause the plan isn't working too well, and I'll figure something out later. He suggested I ask Alexis for help but that would be like making a deal with the slutty devil.

To Alex:

Hey, none of you girls told Hazel anything right? The plan is a no-go, I'll come up with a better one.

To Hazel:

Hey babe, how about when the teacher leaves we do too?

When I saw her take out her phone she almost laughed, it was more like a scoff but same thing. Finally Alex replied.

From Alex:

Of course not you idiot.

I rolled my eyes when I was about to insult her back, Hazel texted me back.

From Hazel:

HA! I'd rather jump in an active volcano.

I stared at the text for a few seconds more than I should have, she couldn't hate me that much...could she?

I started to throw paper balls at her once the teacher left and after 6 she finally was fed up with me.

Hazel's POV

"Would you cut It out!" I whisper yelled, not knowing when the teacher was going to com back.

"Naw, I'm good." He smirked, then winked.

I thought I was going to be sick, that's when I decided to do something I wasn't proud of . I got up, packed my stuff and walked out. Calum was yelling for me to come back as he gathered his stuff but I simply ignored him.

"Hey, do you need a ride home, or can we finally go on that date you promised." He spoke once he caught up to me.

"You're delusional if you think I will ever go out with you." I lied, of course I wanted to but I couldn't, and I needed to take my mind off things.
"And I never promised you anything."

When we reached the parking lot I was going to walk home until I saw Mikey about to get into his car.

"Hey Mikey, can I get a ride home, or did u want to hang?" I spoke flirtatiously as Cal was getting frustrated behind me. I knew Calum was talking to Mike and telling him no, so I walked up to him and put my hand on his chest.

"Please?" I pouted, really hoping he would say okay. I heard a faint noise of metal or something heavy dropping on the concrete but ignored it, keeping my focus on Mikey.

You could tell he was very split but ended up nodding and opening the car door for me. I smirked at Cal as his nostrils were flailing and he looked like he wanted to kill him because he knew Mikey had a crush on me before I showed him Hannah.

Hannah.

Fuck. I really shouldn't have done that, I can't believe I forgot about Hannah. I remembered though she was still at softball practice so I was okay, this time.

But what if Cal uses that against me now. All the thinking I did about it wasted the whole trip to Mikey's house. All we were going to do was hang out, or so I thought...

Hannah's POV

As I was leaving softball practice early and noticed Mikey walking to his car. I was suppose to get a ride home with someone so I guess I'll just ask him. I was jogging over to him until I heard Hazel.

"Hey Mikey, can I get a ride home, or did u want to hang?" It looked like she was flirting but I knew she wasn't, because she wouldn't do that to me.

I was about to keep walking over to them until she put her hand on his chest and was pouting, now it really seemed like she was flirting. All I could say was if looks could kill, she would be dead, by my glare.

I dropped my bat and slowly started walking behind the building. Calum snapped his head over in my direction and looked sympathetic. This couldn't be happening, I've known Hazel all my life. I peaked over to see Calum walking my way after Hazel left with Mikey.

I wasn't going to cry but I wanted to. Maybe Hazel doesn't even like Mikey, maybe she's pretending, I don't know.

Calum finally came over to me knowing what I had seen and gave me a hug.

"Cal, I have a better plan, I want you to drop the plan with Austin and follow my lead starting tomorrow." I explained with a sinister smirk.

All he did was grinned and nodded. We both knew the plan he had with Austin wasn't working.

{A/N - this is important}

In reality Austin doesn't like Hazel, Austin likes Ashley. Austin wants to be friends with Hazel but the only way he could get to Ashley was to be closer with Hazel. So the plan was to ultimately get Calum with Hazel somehow, which we all knew wasn't working, let's just say Austin isn't the smartest person ever.

Austin and Calum don't hate each other, it was the plan, there was no fight, me Alex and Grace were all apart of the trick. He paid us good money so we couldn't resist, all he wants to do is be with Hazel, no harm done right ? But obviously I was wrong because she's trying to make him jealous with my boyfriend. We all see, well at least me Grace and Alex do, she really likes Calum, she always has, even after he hit her.

I had the perfect plan to piss off Hazel, and it had a little something to do we me and Calum.
