Hazel's POV

All I could do was laugh.

"You have got to be kidding me, really Austin, really." He looked down and my glare went towards Ashley.

"Guess we know who I'm not going to formal with." I muttered.

With that I fled upstairs.

I don't think I should have cried, but I did. I think it was because he kind of played me. I huffed and rolled into a ball on my bed.

"I'm just going to stay up here forever." I muttered to myself.

Then I had an idea, I'll just invite Calum over.

Can you come over

I need a friend

A minute or so later he texted me back.

Of course babe. I'll be over in 10.

My heart fluttered and I had a huge goofy grin plastered on my face.

"Shit." I thought, " I need to get dressed." I looked down at myself and I was wearing sweats and a tank top.

I raided my closet and threw on a sweater and jeans. When I was about to put my contacts back in a heard the door bell ring.

I opened my door to see Calum and Ashley hugging downstairs. I rolled my eyes and ran down the stairs taking two steps at a time.

"Hi Cal" I spoke in a sweet tone.

"Well hello beautiful." He hugged me, and I felt my cheeks heat up.

"We will just be upstairs, doing stuff." I emphasized the word "stuff" so Ashley would get irritated and it worked. I grabbed Calum's hand and pulled him up the stairs.

"Wanna explain what stuff were gonna do?" He had a huge smirk on his face.

"Well I was thinking we could play some guitar hero, I need to get my mind off the world, and I guess I'm a nerd so might as well." I picked up a guitar and handed it to him.

"You're going down Waterman." He snickered.

"In you're dreams Hood." I readjusted my beanie and began to chose the song.

After about 15 songs of guitar hero, me winning at least 10, Calum gave up and threw himself on my bed.

"Aw is someone sad they didn't win." I jumped on his back while he was laying down.

"Screw you, I let you win." He rolled us over so he was straddling my waist.

He brought his lips close to mine and my heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest.

When our lips touched Ashley came barging in.

"Woah, uh yeah, Calum get off my sister." She looked away and continued speaking as I rolled my eyes. "Kate is here Hazel, she seems worried about you."
