Hazel's POV

I stepped forward.

It was a tall cliff.

I closed my eyes.

Everything seemed to be in slow motion.

The air pushed up against me until finally,

I dropped.

Screaming.

Screaming was all I heard.

My own screams.

Everything was white.

I could also hear faint sounds of feet rushing towards me.

My eyes and ears finally fully adjusted as I heard the monitor next to me beeping.

The bright lights above me were blinding after what felt like not looking at any light in ages.

It hurt to move.

My chest was rising and falling rapidly and I could now hear more yells coming from out of the room.

They sounded very familiar, too familiar...

It felt hard to breath, like I was having another panic attack.

That was when the monitor went crazy again.

The nurse came over to me to try and calm me down and so far it was helping.

Ashely came running in, pushing past other doctors to get to me.

That's when I finally calmed down all the way.

"Hazel, oh my god, you're alive, Hazel I don't know what to say, I-" I cut her off by holding into her, holding her tight, she did the same but started to sob on my shoulder.

My headache didn't go away and I wanted to break down, it was so bad.

Right after I let Ashley go, I heard yells.

A yell of a man.

The same man I heard earlier.

"Ashley, who's out there yelling, you can tell him that he can come in whoever it is." She nodded and wiped under her eyes.

"Aust. Come in." Not until I finally looked on the other side of the room did I notice all the flower, present, and cards.

Austin stared at me in shock, but then smiled and ran over to me. He pulled me into a bone crushing hug and I groaned.

He let me go and whispered incoherent words to me, as he tried to hold back tears.

"I-you, I thought you died, I should have told you to stay, I shouldn't have let you run away from Calum, and you especially shouldn't have been running away on your skateboard..." I was very confused by now and had no idea what to do. The thought of Calum could ruin my day.
