Hazel's POV

I refused to sit next to them the whole time until we got back to Calum's apartment on the island. I was defiantly still mad at Calum, but he was really trying to fix us.

For about the 4th time in the short drive he has tried to out a comforting hand on my thigh but I've always shook him off. When he did it once again I just left it there and looked at him smiling softly.

When we got to the apartment I sighed, understanding I would now have to talk to all of them. My heart was racing at a pace I didn't even think it could, I was worried about Macy, and was dreading to have to talk to Kate.

Once we all got in the small and compact apartment a few hundred steps from the beach, we all sat on his couch and or chairs.

Calum sat next to me and Macy and Kate sat in their own chairs.

I broke the awkward silence after a minute of just sitting there.

"Kate, I just want the truth. Whatever it may be." The two sentences came out sharper than I imagined but I just went with it.

"Calum, do you want me to explain or you.." Her face was mixed between sadness and hesitation.

"I guess I can, since it was my fault." He looked sympathetic towards Kate and she walked away to the kitchen.

"I'm a compulsive person Hazel, you know that.. Right?" I nodded and he continued.

" I-I räped Kate."

My face contorted to dismay and horror as I looked him straight in his pleading brown puppy like eyes. I shook my head while getting up and he got up also. He held my hands together and pleaded.

"Please just let me explain the whole story." I took my hands from his and backed up a little further on the couch. He sighed but continued anyways.

"I was so angry at Liam. He is playing with you right now, you're just too naïve to see it. That's not a total bad thing but it sucks. You don't even understand what's happening right now. Michael has gone crazy, Hannah has gone missing, Ashton and Grace have been in hiding for a while. Harry is after Kate. Michael wants to kill Niall because he thinks Niall is after Macy, and we all think Macy and Liam had something going on, and he's playing both of you. I was jealous. And I couldn't have you so I took Kate."

He paused to compose all his thoughts as he put this head in his hands quickly then stood up looking mad.

"You shouldn't be stuck in this situation. Everything's just-just stuck in reverse! You're not suppose to love Liam, and Hazel don't you dare lie to me for one moment because I know you do. God I was such an idiot to actually believe you would fall in love with me!" He started to laugh malevolently and me and Macy looked at each other worried.

"I'm seeing Liam in a week and we are settling who gets you. Until then-" Calum pulled out a gun and pointed it towards Macy.

"Up. You keep too many secrets." Calum spoke surprisingly soft towards Macy and light sobs left her lips.

He took her to the one and only bedroom and locked the room.

"Oh and Macy, there are no windows."
