~ Breaking Silent Water~

~ I watched the water surface, so still and so beautiful. the sun rays reflected on it making the little pond blue. The breeze of the winds made tiny ripples, but it was mostly very still. I watched quietly, my thoughts fading out to school, pass the college halls, the lockers, and to that handsome boy who has confessed his love to me and been a part of me for 3 months now.

Slowly I dipped my  hand into the pond water, the chill of the cool water made my fingers tingle, my hands felt lighter, I didn't move my  hand, just watched it,  immersed in water upto my wrist. A whisper leaving my lips as a smile appeared on the corner of my mouth.

"And like that, you came diving into my heart, waking me up, making me nervous the first time, but...... making me feel like I was floating at the same time...."

Slowly I moved my hand to the left, to the right, doing my best to keep the water still, the ripples went along with my hand, the water flowed through my fingers, my hand got used to the cool water and now It wasn't cold.

"I got used to your love, you made my smile, laugh and made me unhappy. But I love you. You made ripples in my still heart, making the water move. I loved it, you became part of me..."

My smile dropped, my brows furrowed and I sighed in anger as I felt rage blot in my heart.

  "And then today...... "  

   I felt a tear run down my cheek  

  " I saw you, you had her cornered, your arms either side of her, locked in a kiss. You.... you.....  "

Then suddently, a sharp sensation of pain stung my heart, rage poisoned me as I pulled my hand out of the water, ripping the still water skin, making huge ripples run on the top in madness. Water droplets sprinkled everywhere and now, the pond was disturbed.

"You... 

broke the silent water"
