Royal Wishes// Ongoing

Chapter Two

My eyes were penetrated by the bright sunshine that escaped through the tiny slit from my curtains. I groaned as the memories of last night reminded me how much I did not want to deal with anything  today, muttering a few prayers hoping I wouldn't encounter the blonde female and male I stumbled into my bathroom. I had remembered that Mrs Williams said that my uniform was hung up in the second wardrobe and I was thankful that everything was set for me as it was less effort. Putting on the shirt, skirt and blazer I had realised that the shirt was perfect fit but the skirt was a bit short for my liking and the blazer swallowed my tiny figure. I grunted as this was a perfect start to my first lesson, making a mental note to inform Mrs Williams about the clothing fit I headed towards the dining hall for breakfast.

The encounters from the dining hall flooded in my mind as I walked in a few sets of eyes fluttered towards me. I ignored the stares as I grabbed my meal and sat on the table furthest away from all the students, hoping that I could avoid the uncomfortable stares I was getting. A couple of stirs later, my tea was ready to be consumed but was interrupted once again by a familiar voice. " I thought you said you wouldn't bother me ever yet you are here again bothering me" the stone cold blonde spoke, I looked towards him with defeat as I asked him " What is it now? I'm doing nothing so can I just enjoy my breakfast and proceed to ignore you."

Before I could carry on eating my tray of breakfast was picked up and placed on a different table, " learn the rules if you want to survive in this school and the first rule is don't sit on a table that doesn't belong to you" he snapped. I had enough as I couldn't stop the burst of anger so I snapped back " why are you crying over a fucking shitty table that looks like every other table in this room you dickhead." I slammed the chair before I stormed out the hall not wanting to deal with  him or anybody in there.

My hands trailed up on my forehead as I felt a mixture of emotions that was uncontrollable and hard to sustain. I massaged my head to release the stress of being in a school full of privileged dogs that don't have any basic manners, however It was intercepted by a soft cough. I looked up only to be met with a bespectacled blonde girl who has her hair in a neat bun with a soft look of pity and sorrow. " I..i..just wanted to say what you did there was so different , I mean nobody has ever stood up to them boys especially Luca as they are equivalent to royalty" she stuttered as she fiddled with her fingers showing that she was nervous. I choked at the last sentence as I repeated what she said " equivalent to royalty? What's so special about him that he is equivalent to royalty." The petite platinum blonde haired girl spoke again " it's not only just him but it's all three of them Naya, they come from a wealthy and well respected family background, extremely rich and handsome which attracts the girls attentions and the boys in this school envy them." I stood there shocked as I processed what she had told me as I laughed at the fact people actually find him attractive when he is nothing but distasteful. " I'm sorry I never got your name, I'm Naya" I said as the girl in front of me smiled more comfortably " I'm Rose, and I already know your name you're basically a celebrity right now for talking back to Annie the other day and for now talking back to one of the royals" she laughed. I moaned out of annoyance before I spoke again " tell me more about these four boys so that I can avoid them at every cost" as Rose was about to explain my stomach gargled as it was filled with nothing but air. " I brought you food when I realised you hadn't ate anything last night and today morning" Rose picked out a tiffin that was filled with a sweet smell of  pancakes coated with a rich golden syrup. Thanking her I took a bite as my eyes rolled back " this is so good" I squealed, Rose let out small laugh as she started to explain about the "royals."

" Luca Dane was the one that you bursted out on today and he is one of the youngest CEO's to become a billionaire, the Dane family has had a strong business for more than 10 years now and the money, business basically everything belongs to Luca. Robbie McKinnon is one of the smartest students here in this boarding school, he is actually a professor but only teaches Luca and Carter. He comes from a family where all members have graduated from prestige universities and has achieved many great success. Last but not least Carter who is practically the jokester of the trio but he has a immense amount of talent when it comes to art, his parents are dedicated artists who's artworks are wanted by everyone. This school is practically  their families as they donated a lot which is why it is one of the top schools here in France."

I sat there in surprise as I took in everything Rose had spilled, no wonder why they were so popular. I felt the familiar feeling of embarrassment once again as I had realised I had argued with a CEO who's net worth is billions. "I really did make a fool out of myself no wonder why everyone was staring at me from the beginning of breakfast" I cried out, " it's okay Naya, you did the right thing Luca deserved it since it's time he understands that he can't treat everyone poorly" she spoke while comforting me. I looked at her as my eyes sent her a message that I was grateful for her presence as I heard the light chatters of students coming out from the dining hall which meant that lessons were about to start. " Rose I have biology first but I would love to talk to you again so please stop by my dorm if you have time" I spoke as I wrote down my room number, she nodded eagerly and we departed.

I had a passion for sciences, as the human anatomy fascinated me and I had always wanted to research so I hoped that my biology lesson would save my day from being utter shit.
