Testing the limits

chapter 14

        Spring break

           Yes, the whole school screamed as we ran to our buses. It was spring break. Christy, her boyfriend, and Her sister were arrived at my house this afternoon. Ashlynn And Hayes were riding my bus home and when we got home, Christy and her "gang" were sitting  on the step. We went inside grabbed our bags and waited for my parents with them. When my parents didn't come my brother pulled up. He brought us to the air port and we got on a plane to Louisiana. My parents had already set up and cleaned up the house. It was good being back. We hung out for a while until it was really late. We all crashed. Angie and I slept in my bedroom. Christy and her boyfriend crashed in the spare room. Ashlynn and Hayes crashed on the second spare room and My brother and Christy' s sister slept in the basement. Its all finished and we have almost a theater type set up. Its cool. When we got up we all went out. After breakfast We just walked around the streets. We live in the middle of nowhere pretty much. We have about a mile long driveway surrounded by swamps and little oak trees with just vines and gravel everywhere. When we were done shopping , eventually, we went back home. We all got one thing. Whether it was really small or the biggest thing we could find. When we got back to the house we put in a movie and it started thundering and lightning out. It was pitch black outside except for the lanterns that lit up the drive way. The power went out and we were stuck stranded in the dark. Angie held me tight while Hayes was jumping in Ashlynn' s arms. We were all laughing and eventually fell asleep. When we woke up the power was still out so my dad took the generator and started it up. We finished watching our movie while eating breakfast. It was still pouring out but the thunder and lightning had stopped. The movie ended and we all just sat around. The rain stopped and we sat out side around the fire telling scary stories. Ashlynn told hers first. We all sat around eating smores listening to each and every word very carefully. Then it was my turn.
