chapter 4

                         Concussion(s)?¿

             I stood up very slowly as my sight regenerated. I realized the drops of blood on The floor were from me so quickly grabbed a towel/napkin thing and wrapped it around my head. The nurse came back with ice and screamed.

"I told you to keep the ice on your head. Why in Hell would you try to stand up"

My head still hurt like hell as she sat me down and wrapped a proper band aid and proper care for my head.

"Now sit and stay before I really have to hurt you", she said like she meant it, broad, mean ,and hurtful.

I sat still until she came back. She said I was fine so I got up and started to walk around a little.

I checked up on Ashlynn.

"Hey", I said sweetly.

"Sup". She sounded ill, but I knew she was ok.

" So does Hayes know………"

"About ", she asked, seeming more confused then ever.

"About your , um,  baby?"

"No, and that's how its going to stay", she said it very stern and meanly , but her eyes told a different story.

"you want to tell him", I said after a brief moment.

"if course I do, but I can't. Its too much."

Ill tell him, I offered.

" No, because then he will think I don't trust him. Its better if he doesn't know."

"Who know what", Hayes asked as he came.

I left the room and whispered "You is who" to Hayes on his way out. Ashlynn was mad but it was ok.

As I turned the corner I could hear Ashlynn sob even louder and I laughed a little.

I walked back into Courtney's room and Shelby was standing there.

"What the Fuck did you do to her", Shelby screamed at me.

"What the hell, stop screaming at him. Im trying to sleep, my head hurts". Courtney fell back asleep in a matter of minutes while Shelby and I ' chatted ' in the hall way.

"How could you?" She wondered out loud obviously irretated.

"The last time I checked, you broke up with me over 10 years ago. And I haven't heard fro. you since." I was on a role and loving every minute of it.

"Who the hell are you to come up to MY town and yell at me because your life isn't at all what you wanted", I wanted to stop but just, just couldn't.

" Think about what you want in MY life and tell me or if not

thank you so much for coming and don't feel bad to walk away."

With that I heard Courtney call my name and I walked into the room and Shelby left. Courtney complained I was too hard on her but she thanked me for sticking up for us.

I was able to go home but Courtney had to stay for ' observation '.

When I pulled into The drive way I couldn't believe what I saw.

And trust me, it was pretty.

And it wasn't nice.
