---ATTENTION---
This fanfic has nothing to do with the newest Harry Potter book. I try not to mention the characters made by JK.
Thank you.

Looking around me I see nothing but trees and black. I blink but nothing changes. My eyes sting and blood is dripping down my arm. I'm alone, they left me. I have so many questions. But the main one is how? How did I end up here? A moan escapes my lips as I roll onto my side so I can inspect the wound. It was worse then I thought. I know that I can't last long. I am going to die soon. My wand was broken in pieces, lying just out of reach. I moan and lye on my back, looking up at the stars one last time.
But this isn't how this started. So I guess I should take you back to when it did. The start.
I prowled (not literally) past the staring children, sitting in carriages waiting for for the train to leave. I carried myself with dignity, standing up straight with my head high and giving a deadly glare to anyone who looked in my direction. The isle ended and a long line of kids were waiting with an array of different expressions on their faces, they were so predictable, the Hufflepuffs looked nervous, the Ravenclaws looked worried, the Gryffindors looked chill and the Slytherins looked, as always, deadly. I wondered why they bothered with that old hat anyway, it was blinding obvious where everyone belonged.
I came from a Gryffindor family, a caring mother and a loving father, they spoiled me senseless. But this doesn't mean that I had it easy, every single person I met instantly hated me, every single one. I don't know why. So when the acceptance letter came in I instantly thought, Slytherin, I'm going to be a Slytherin. My parents couldn't care less what house I got into, they where all like... Oh sweetie it doesn't matter where you go, you'll always be our little girl. Ugah, so...wrong. They packed my bag for me, unbelievable. Drove me to the train station, unnecessary. Walked me to the platform, overprotective. Kissed me goodbye, gross. And watched me go, finally. I took a deep breath, aggressively tucked my dull red hair behind my lightly tanned ear and stepped onto the old steam train.
On the train a group of kids my age were sitting in a group and chatting in excited voices, I could hear them asking each other how they felt. I rolled my eyes and kept walking. In the next noticeable carriage was a huge group of kids, these ones bragging about their parents and the adventures they had. This definitely deserved an eye roll. As I rolled my dark green eyes and one of the girls looked at me.
"Ohhhhhh, look, girls, we have our fist Slytherin, what do you make of that?" She mocked.
"Ohh, wow, look at that, someone with eyes and an attitude," I replied, instinctively.
"You know who else has that attitude?" She spat.
"Oh, gee, I don't know, please tell me, oh wait, I don't care," I said, toneless.
"Your mama!" She laughed.
"Shushhhhh, you're lowering the IQ of the whole train." I smiled. "Now as fun as this has been, I really don't want to be seen with preschoolers."
I rolled my eyes again and left.
"Gryffindors." I quietly sighed as I continued walking.
I found a carriage at the back of the train that was empty apart from a spider making a small web in the corner. I sighed and practically fell into the maroon seat. I watched the spider make its web, then after a while, I turned my attention to the window.
The countryside blurred past my window, the sunset gave it an array of different colours. It was beautiful, but it looked so lonely. It reminded me of my life. I have so much, Nimbus 200? I have 5. Ensuite bathroom? I Have 1 connected to my walk-in wardrobe in both my bedrooms. Every object I want? I have it. Friends? None. I sighed and looked up as I heard a knock at the closed carage door.
"Sweets?" It was the trolley lady.
"No thanks." I sighed through the door.
I heard the squeak of the wheels as she walked away. I turned my attention back to the window and fell asleep.
