Serayah

As I step into the church,I could spot it from far.The blue knight coffin.Trau's national flag laid over the blue wood carefully and respectively.As I go closer I notice the wrath that are placed not far from the coffin.All the most beautiful roses that I have ever seen were also placed close to the coffin.

But I'm not sure what I'm doing here.Everyone from each of my side is sitting down with tissues on their hands,some of them are either stoic,sobbing,crying silently.Why is everyone crying?What is happening?.

As I reach closer,I could see davi standing next to rafa.Both of them wearing black but where is neymar?."Serayah" "Mummy"Both of them called weakly as they saw me approaching.

As they gave me a hug before I know it we were asked to sit.The nations father stood on the podium,"Dearly Beloved we are gathered here today to celebrate the life of King Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior.He was a man of power and strength."No no no this is not happening.

"Rafa Please tell me I'm dreaming."I begged my sister in law who sat next to me."He spent his final days surrounded by the people he loves the most."Please tell me I'm dreaming.

"May I invite the person who have been by king neymar's side up on this podium to share some words,Duchess Serayah if you will."Every pair of eyes were on me."No this must be a dream!NO NO NO!"

"No!"I woke up from that terrible nightmare in sweat.Soon my mother came looking worried."Serayah?"She asks as she enters my room.I cried onto the palm of my hands.She sigh in relief as she runs to my side."its okay honey its just a terrible dream."She console."It felt real mama."I cried onto her chest when she gave me a hug.

"I want to go visit him."I stood up as I hurriedly look for my hoodie."Honey its three am." "I don't care mama,I will not leave his side." "Honey you're being paranoid,just rest for a while you can visit tommorow." I was going to protest but she stopped me."Atleast do this for the baby." She looks at me with pleading eyes."You have not had much rest over the past few weeks,its best for you to rest and go back to the hospital in the morning."I laid down and nodded as she tucked me in as if I was a little girl.

So I tried to sleep.I really did but I couldn't.So I stood up.After putting my hoodie on and proper pants I was out.I walked to the kitchen and try to find my car keys in the dark and I did.I was about to walk out only to be startled when my mum was in the doorway."I really did try to rest to return back to sleep but I couldn't."I explained."The thoughts in my head wouldn't settle.The churns in my stomach wouldn't stop.The fast beating of my heart wouldn't calm down.So yes I couldn't wait for the morning.Because now it is not only  that I want to be there,It is because I need to be there.So please."She nodded and let me through.

"I love you."She called out as I replied to her affections by returning the same words.I entered my car and sent a small prayer before I began my journey to the hospital.

I stepped into the the private reception area tirelessly.I probably look like a mess but I couldn't care less.The nurses gave me a small smile in which I replied.I spotted the huge doors in which Rudolsh and Frank were guarding.They gave me welcoming smiles and I return a sad one.

"How is he?"I ask "Stable ma'am"I nodded to their reply before entering the ward.I walked through the door before rudolsh closed it leaving me and neymar alone.

I don't know what it is but I let out a breath that I was holding ever since I woke up from that dream.Instead of saying anything I walk up to the sofa and put my oversize coat on the couch arm rest.I placed everything on the same sofa and remove my shoes.Taking my hair out of the band.I climbed up the queen size hospital bed.Carefully I laid my head upon the left side of his chest."Please don't leave me."I whispered.As I let my tears fall."I know heaven sounds amazing but don't leave me."I continue."Don't leave us."I whispered as I kept my eyes upon him as I gently caress my stomach ."We still need you here."I whispered as I gently kiss his jaw."The twins needs to know you.They need a father."I whispered."We still need you so please don't leave us."I repeated.And before I know it my heavy eyes are already falling and soon I was fast asleep.
