Salus had been slipping in and out of consciousness every few days. Every time he did he'd been in the same plain room on Dantooine. Sometimes he'd see an old lady and a Young Man tending to his wounds from the crash. Finally, a week after the crash, he woke up and got up quickly, only to be struck by pain. The Old women walked up to him and said, "Take it easy, you have been out for a while now, here drink this," she said handing him a vile. He drank it and put his feet on the floor and tried to get up. "Where is my stuff? My ship?" He said looking around. "Your stuff is in the footlocker over there," she said pointing at a container on the floor. "As for your ship, it had been destroyed, we could not repair it." Salus went and grabbed all his stuff, put on his normal clothing and holstered his weapons. "Is there anyway off planet?" She looked at him. "Not since the Empire took control, looking for you. If you can get out of here, please, take my son with you, he deserves better and wants to fight with you." Her son, the young man salus saw when he gained and lost consciousness had stood up. "I promise I will get your son out of here." He motioned for the young man to follow him. They went into the streets, looking for anything to get them out of here only to notice a Star Destroyer hovering right above the town. "So what's your name?" Salus said trying to make the man comfortable. "Rel, Rel Knight" "Well Rel, know anywhere we can get a ship and get off this planet?" Rel looked at him and thought for a second. "There aren't none that we can use to escape that Star Destroyer or its TIE Fighters. But, some scavengers have been coming in with parts from what appear to be X-Wings, if we can find where they are getting them, we may be able to find some working ships, or parts to get them working." Salus looked at him in amazement and said, "Good thinking kid, lead the way." They set off looking for the place to find the starfighters. After going on for 2 days searching outside the town, they finally found a building that looked older than those in the town. "Let's head inside, keep an eye out for anything." Rel nodded and readied his blaster. Salus went inside first and they saw 2 T-65 X-wing Starfighters in perfect condition. "Well, we found our way out of here, the hyperdrives look intact and weapons look good, should get us past the Star Destroyer." Rel looked at him and said "But what about the people here? They are starving because that Destroyer is there, we have to stop it." Salus looked down and said "Kid, sometimes you can't beat them all, if we destroy this ship, the empire will just send another, maybe even destroy the town. We have to get back to my fleet so we can stand a chance." Rel stood tall and proud. "If you will not help them, then I will." Salus sighed before thinking that destroying the ship was actually a good idea. "Alright kid, I'll do it, but I need you to rally support using the radio when we take flight, tell them all we need is for them to get a transmitter working, and then we will finally save this planet from the Empire."
