Salus readied the systems of the X-wing as him and Rel prepared to launch an assault on the Star Destroyer hovering above the town. "Remember, when you take off, any life you had before this day is gone and you will be a fugitive of the Empire." Salus pulled out a holo-picture of what appeared to be a 16 year old him and a 12 year old young girl with the words "We will never be apart -Crystal" under it. "I'll find you again, one day we will come back together." Afterwards he exhaled sharply and began the start up sewuence for the X-Wing. He checked everything to make sure it was all green and Fired the engines up, "Alright Rel, stay at my side and we will get out of here together." Salus wited for a response for about a minute before Rel replied "Roger that." Slus fired the engines and accelarated out of the building. He then entered a data chip into the radio and transmitted a message through all local communication devices that read "People of Dantooine, Civilian or Imperial, listen to me. The Empire is a virus in the Galaxy that is plaguing the minds of our children saying that we would not survive without them. Well that claim is wrong, we can survive without them, The Rebellion wants to rebuild the Republic, the same Republic that stood for thousands of years and protected the galaxy along with the Jedi for years before the vile Emperor decided to take over the galaxy and put us in an eternal state of dispair as the forcefully take worlds, brainwash men and women of all species to fight for them, change history to show that they are the nes who saved the galaxy when they are the ones who brought this darkness upon us. So stand with me and Fight for your freedom, take out their comms outpost so that the Rebellion can hear our call and save us. Fight with me and for yourself so your children and their children have a brighter future." After the message, many Stormtroopers, Farmers, Merchants and common folk armed themselves and fought against those who remained loyal to the Empire. Salus and Rel went in and provided air support for those going against heavy armor and large groups of troops. It wasn't long before the Dantooine rebels to take out the comms outpost, giving Salus time to send a distress signal to Lyla and the crew of the Golden Blood. Just as the signal sent, the Star Destroyer's Hanger opened up and out popped TIE Fighters, along with a few squads launching from the ground. "Alright Kid, let's take these fliers out before our friends on the ground get wiped off the face of the galaxy" Salus and Rel flew in and fired at the TIEs, taking 3 down in one swift attack. The continues the dog fight, drawing them away from the ground forces. "I got two on my tail, Rel cover me" Salus flew evasively trying to lose them. "I can't, there's too many" Rel was flew by him with 2 TIEs on his tail. One behind Salus took a couple shots at him, one landing on his wing. There's was no where left to run, all Salus saw was a blinding light.
