Tampon Run

I sigh and walk out of the bedroom. I walk into the bathroom and lean over the sink groaning.
"What's wrong?" Austin asks walking into the room with a worried look on his face.
"Nothing," I reply and shut the door. I sit down on the toilet and notice a red stain on my underwear. Fuck...
I reach up to the cabinet above my head and pull out my box of tampons. A part of my sinks as I realize there isn't any left. What am I supposed to do? I can't go to the store like this.
"Hey babe?" I say, praying Austin is still in our room.
"Yeah?" He calls back.
"I need a favor..."
"And what is this favor?" He asks. His voice becomes closer. I see his shadow under the door.
"I am begging. Please do not come in here."
He snickers and backs away a bit.
"That's your favor?"
"No... I need tampons.."
A long moment of silence fills the atmosphere. Now I'm embarrassed..
"Austin?"
"Yeah, yeah." He replies. "Okay. I can do that. I'll go right now."
I hear him take off down the stairs but then I hear him come running back.
"(Y/N) I have a problem."
"Yes?"
"I don't know what to buy..."
I laugh and pull out my phone. I snap a picture of the empty box and send it to him.
"There. You know what it looks like."
"Okay," he says and starts walking off again. "I can do this," I hear say giving himself motivation. I roll my eyes. I don't know what I'd do without him.
A few minutes later my phone starts vibrating. I pick it up and see it's Austin.
"Hello?"
"Okay, I'll go get you tampons, but I am not going in here alone. You're staying on the phone with me. And don't you dare argue (Y/N). This is embarrassing. Oh god, is he looking at me? Come on dude! Have you never seen a guy buy his girlfriend tampons?!"
I burst out laughing, hysterically.
"Now you see what it's like being a girl."
I hear him slightly snicker and then get an answer. "Shut up"
