*Imagine getting amnesia and not recalling any existence of Austin being completely and irrevocably in love with you*

"Austin calm down. She doesn't even know who you are," Alex tells his best friend pointing to the girl he knew Austin still loved. "I know," Austin said under his breath. "Sometimes I wish that wreck never happened."
Alex moves aside to get a drink and Austin pushes past him. "Hi," he tells the beautiful girl his heart ached for. She turns around and smiles. "Hi," she says extending her hand. Quieting his rage, he casually pretended he didn't recognize her and shook her hand calmly. "I'm Austin," he tells her over the loud music. "I'm (Y/N)," she says leaning closer to him to make sure he heard her. "Can I buy you a drink?" He asks. She looks back to her friends, but then confidently says "I'd love nothing more."
