Confession time

I grab my keys off the counter and kiss Austin's cheek goodbye. He walks me to the door, and as soon as he opens it, lightning strikes down in front of us. I scream and jump back into his arms. He pulls me close and slams the door shut. "The weathers really bad out there. I'd feel safer if you stay with me."
I nod my head and agree with him. I hate storms. If I drive in this, I'd probably wreck and die. "Come on," he says and grabs my hand. "Let's distract ourselves from the terrifying weather."
I laugh and follow his lead. I drop my bag and keys on the couch and continue with him up the stairs. "Movie of video game?"
I give him the 'really' look and he chuckles. "Okay, movie it is." We settle for Friends With Benefits and can I just say how awkward this is? Austin is my best friend, but when it comes to sex, I just wanna jump his bones. I could never tell him that though. Our friendship would be ruined. Thunder cracks and I scoot a little closer to him. He completely pulls me into his lap and holds me in his arms. "Do you ever think about us being a couple (Y/N)?" He says in my ear suddenly. My body tenses. Wait WUT?
I slowly look up at him and he looks down at me with curiosity. I shouldn't lie... "Uh... It's came across my mind maybe once or-" I start, but was cut off by his lips crashing to mine. I kiss back with passion. I have waited for this day so long.. "I've in love with you (Y/N). I always have been. I just couldn't tell you that because I was scared of losing you. Will you be my girlfriend?"
