I wake up an hour early just like everyday. My body is fast asleep while I'm trying to start my day. After my shower, I blow dry hair, then lock in some curls with my curling iron. I apply my makeup, finishing it off with my bright red lipstick. Lastly I slip on all my jewelry. My long earring linger on my cold skin making goose bumps rise up my body. I step out of the bathroom to see Austin just now waking in the sheets. I smile in his direction. "Good morning baby," he says with his voice groggy. "Good morning," I reply, grabbing my purse off the dresser. I walk over to him and kiss his cheek. "I'll see you later.." He frowns at me. I feel bad. Everyday is repeat in our lives. I go to work at unearthly hours in the morning and he comes home at late hours in the night. Right now there's no way around it...

After work I come home and set all my things down. I feel a wash of relief hit me just being in my own house. The office is constant chaos and I feel so stressed as soon as I step in its doors. I flick the lights on in my room and scream just a little as Austin sits on the edge of the bed with a box in his hands. Worry hits me hard. Please don't tell me he's leaving me...

I watch as he stands up and walks towards me. We don't exchange words, I just keep my worried eyes fixed on his. His hands reach up and take my earring off and set them in the box. He takes the pins in my out and places them inside of it too. He then take my hand and leads me into the bathroom, giving me a rag and tells me to take off my makeup. He disappears back into the bedroom and comes back with a pair of sweats and a smile.

"Austin, what are you doing?" I ask him not comprehending what exactly is going on.

"You honestly don't have to try so hard. I never see you being you anymore. We're going on a vacation tomorrow and I don't want you not being you, I don't want any makeup involved or high fashioned jewelry with stilettos. I miss just you.."
