The crowd roars for the hundredth time, but I just sit back further in my chair. After everyone quiets down, Austin sits down next to me. He grabs my phone out of my hands and slips it in his pocket with his. I give him a wild expression, but he just slings his arm across the back of my chair and points out to the field. "Reasons why you hate baseball is because you don't understand it. If you would actually watch what happens, you might just like it."
I snort pathetically.
"Yeah right!"
He sighs and gets up, walking out away looking disappointed. Shit.. I know Austin likes baseball, but I didn't think it was that important for me to like it too.
I get up and catch him right before he leaves. "I'll try to learn, okay?"
He looks behind me for a minute, then looks back. "Will you teach me?" I ask to kill the silence. He shakes his head, trying to hide his smirk, then bites his lip. He grabs my hand and leads me back to our seats, caving in.
We watch the game and I actually figure out what some things are because Austin pointed them out. The game comes to and end when the last guy strikes out on the team we weren't cheering for. I stand up and cheer along with everyone else in our section. I feel joy, happiness, excitement because our team won! I turn to Austin and he pulls me in and kisses me suddenly. I have to admit, I'm taken aback.. Lol.
"What was that for?" I ask when we pull apart.
"You hated this but you sat down and learned just for me to make me happy. Words can't describe how amazing you are. I love you so much baby!"
I smile deeply. "I love you too Austin!"
