Chapter 10 - We're Escorting Who?!

(sora's pov)

I was walking with my team waiting for an attack that might not even happen..

Flashback

"listen well and heed this warning...if you see a man with a mask...RUN...

Flashback over

"sora?...hey what's wrong ya seem kinda down"asked naruto with worry in his eyes

"nothing...im fine"(huge lie)

"ok then..."said naruto

I then saw a puddle on the floor..when it hasn't rained in weeks!? what the heck was going on!

I looked around trying to identify the enemy...

"1...2...oh just 2? phew"

"2 of what"sasuke asked with everyone else starring at me wide eyed.

(my thoughts)

oh crud...

"oh uhh..uhh....two uhh..duck asses..yup.."I said pointing to 1 duck on the floor

"but there is only one duck"sasuke said looking at me with a duh look on his face

"yeah but the one on your head is clearly visible" I said smirking.

he then shot me a death glare as if implying I should go jump off a cliff

but I rolled my eyes cursing that look again!

(my thoughts)

I really hate that look! the next one I see im gonna rip it straight off whosoever face it is!

I was then snapped out of sora land to focus on the enemy's chakra...but...I couldn't..it was like they had disappeared completely.

"hmph.. like these kids can protect me" said Tazuna sounding a bit mad

"well,how do you think we feel?...getting stuck with a drunk"I then said sounding just as mad

"what you say midget!" he yelled

I got a anime vein on my head

*punch*

"Sora!" yelled kakashi sensei

"that does it! just because im small don't mean im a midget! just you watch I'll have a froth spirt and you'll look up to me!"I yelled furiously

*snap*i quickly shut up and my body stiffened

"sora?" naruto questioned

I then began looking around frantically

(my thoughts)

left...right...above..

kakashi noticed me looking around so he let go of me and got into a defense position

"Got ya!" two voices yelled wrapping a chain scythe(two knives on a chain) around kakashi

then *RIP* alot of kakashi pieces splattered all over the floor

"KAKASHI SENSEI!!" Naruto yelled in a worried voice

the two ninja heard this and chose to go after naruto,thinking he was the weakest.

(my thoughts)

big mistake..narutos gonna run circles around them..

Naruto just froze, with fear in his eyes.like he had never been in a real fight before.

the ninjas where about to hit naruto "Naruto!..watch o." I didn't finish because I was attacked by the other ninja

"don't worry about him..im your opponent now" said the ninja with a smirk.I scowled and looked at naruto with worry..

(my thoughts)

c'mon naruto...fight back..

sadly he just stood there unusualy frightened.I was about to let myself get harmed to save naruto when sasuke saved him.

"phew" I said,sighing I relief.

"now,to deal with you" I said smirking evily at my opponent

he looked at me confused until I pulled out my katana(I use for ending fights quickly) and pulled the mist ninja,I looked at his headband to see what village he was from,and held my katana up to his neck.

Timeskip

kakashi had tied them up to a tree,trying to identify where they where from.

"they are chunin from the hidden mist" kakashi stated

"hn our plan was flawless...how did you retaliate so quickly?" one if the ninja questioned

"well..your pretty thick if you don't know" I said sighing

the ninja glared at me but allowed me to continue.

"anyways...one word...puddle" I said

"huh?"asked the ninja from the mist

"let Me spell it out..P.U.D.D.L.E" I said turning away from them

"she means 1 puddle when it hasn't rained for at least a month Is a bit suspicious" kakashi said for them

sasuke then said to naruto

"hey..your not hurt are ya...scaredy cat"naruto glared at him madly.

"well we better get back to our village..." kakashi said with a sigh

"What!? why?" demandid Tazuna

"well we where only paid to guard you from robbers and bandits not other ninja...plus..naruto has been poisoned so that would be a bit of a bother/problem to us all"

I looked at naruto,he was looking at his hand feeling guilty.

(my thoughts)

oh naruto..

he then got a kuni out and stabbed his hand.

we all gasped as he dug the knife deeper into his hand.

he then made a little speech about ninjas and stuff.

"that was a cool speech and it was cool how you stabbed yourself..but if we don't stop the bleeding your gonna die" kakashi said

naruto sweatdropped and started panicing"ahhh im gonna die!" he screamed

" stop moving..movement only makes it worse" I sighed

(my thoughts)

*sigh* he's still an idiot.

kakashi looked at naruto's hand with a serious look on his face

"is it bad?" naruto asked worried,curious as I am,I decided to have a peek.thinking I didn't know naruto's secret kakashi pulled the hand away from me.

I then gave him a look saying that I knew so he let me look

(my thoughts)

wow..his hand is healing already...the kyuubi's chakra is amazing..

Timeskip

we where on our way to the land of waves when sensei said something

"Tazuna,you only told us that you wanted protection from bandits and thiefs...you never said."Kakashi didn't finish because ma new ninja appeard on a tree branch.

(my thoughts)

a guy on a branch with a short top on,a mask and...oh no...

kuminoku..I wish I took your warning seriously...
