sora's pov:
I can't beleive he did that to hinata....was he...trying to kill her!?
"hey,loser"neji spoke catching my attention.
naruto looked up at him.
"first of all,stop that ridiculous cheering of yours,it's disgraceful and second...once a failure always a failure..you can't change that." neji's harsh words sounded like.he was serious.
"well well just see about that" naruto yelled as he.went to attack neji. lee stopped him.
"what are you-" began naruto
"rules say that all fighting must be done within a match.now if you where to fight him...wouldn't that make for an exiting match?" lee said
naruto dipped his hand into some of hinata's blood and pointed his bloody fingers at neji.
"I vow,to win!"
all of the participants went back to their seats and the preliminary continued.
the computer choosing the matches began to select a name.
"c'mon lee,I just know this will be your turn I just know it! are you ready lee?"said guy sensei.
lee turned his head.
"no"
"huh?" guy looked confused
"I have been waiting so long..I might as well go last!" lee yelled pouting
me and sakura had.the same confused look
'is he....sulking?...'
I looked over at gara and saw his sand beginning to swirl around a spot in the arena.
I looked over at naruto to see him giving and getting death glares from kankuro.
"well,let's do this" said gara in his menacing tone.
"gaaaaaaaaaaa! safe again" yelled choji only to get hit by shikamaru.
"you idiot,do you want everyone here to know your a chicken!?"he said while.choji rubbed his head.
"ok then,I cannot wait to get started!" yelled lee all pumped up.
"huh?" me and sakura asked
"you see,by saying I would rather go last literally made it so I would not go last,sort of like a reverse strategy!" lee yelled
"thats my student!" said Gai.
me and sakura sweatdropped..
"that...doesn't make any sense" we both said.
lee had finished stretching and jumped down toward the arena and made a crack in the ground.
I saw sakura worrying
(my thoughts)
this guy....he's got everyone here worked up....is he really that powerful?........
nah,it could be a cover up for him being weak right?....awww who am I kidding!? he's as strong as a mouse picking up an elephant! please lee...do your best....
"ready?....fight!" yelled the chunin as he jumped backwards out of the way.
almost immediatally,lee rushed towards gara and...he..blocked it without moving!?
"huh?" gasped sakura and naruto as I looked over at him.
I narrowed my eyes and glared at gara
"what is this!?"I said
"earth style?" asked sakura
I shook my head as I focused on him better.
"no...it's....its more than that...I..don't know what that is"I spoke confused.
sakura turned her head and started to sweat a little
(my thoughts)
sakura's realy uneasy now...I need to do something...
"c'mon lee...please win!"I said quietly.
(Lee's pov)
"haaa!" I try to kick him bit his sand blocks again.I jump back a few steps and put my hands infront of my body,ready for another frontle attack.
I take it I must be quicker than his sand.
I ran around him to his side then quickly to his back and I kicked.His sand blocked again.
I need more speed.
I leapt back and concentrated..now....I will start running!.I ran in circles around him and began kicking as fast as I could.
just as I thought...his sand has started to slow down a bit...it cannot keep up.
now for the final blow! this is sure to hit him!
