"what happened to us, logan?
*seen*
"logan."
"ayla. just hold on okay? im doing everything i can"
"no you're not! it's been a month."
"just hold on. okay?"
"is there something to hold on to?"
*seen*
The name keeps on repeating inside my head over and over. It won't stop. I started falling backward trying to find something behind me to hold onto. Nothing.
Brendan caught me before I even fell and placed me on his couch.
"Are you sure that Logan is the one who did this to you?" I asked, gripping his arm as he tried to fan me with his own hands.
His aircon was at its high and I still feel a lot of sweat streaming down my back.
"I'm pretty sure he did this," Brendan nodded.
"But why would he do this? I know Logan. He wouldn't do this if it's not something serious. Brendan, tell me the truth," I said, breathing deeply.
"I'm sure as hell. I swear on my Grandfather's grave, I am not lying to you, Ayla," Brendan said, taking a seat beside me.
"I don't care about your Grandfather, Brendan!" I yelled, standing up. "I'm texting George now if you're not telling the truth, I'm gonna make your bruises twice as to what you have now."
I brought out my phone and typed in George's number.

"Well, George just called me a selfish bitch, how about that?" I bitterly laughed and turned off my phone.
"I'm sorry," Brendan whispered.
"Does Logan know that I know?" I asked him, fixing my stuff.
"Where are you going?" Brendan asked, looking at me with so much confusion on his face.
"Does Logan know that I know?" I asked again. He shook his head and didn't say another word.
"I'm leaving," I said, not even looking at him. I went out of his apartment and started walking away. I don't know where to go, but I kept walking in the direction I first walked to.
"I remember I turned right, then left. Fuck this," I whispered to myself as I fished out my phone from my pocket and pressed the app named "Uber".
As I was typing the address to Logan's apartment, the screen turned black and that little stupid rolling thing came up on the screen.
"No battery? Really? Well, that sucks," I laughed, looking around. It's almost 5 PM and I still don't know how to get home. I even don't get my wallet on me.
